Took my truck to hector and Bobby my fuel pump relay was bad tbey fixed it changed The oil tire rotation did a fantastic job thanks guys great work read more

Was referred to these guys by a good friend and I'm glad I took the recommendation. Both Bobby and his father, whom I just met, were fast as all hell at getting my starter out and the new one back in and best of all they didn't go poking around like a bad dentist looking for any reason to fleece me. They stayed on target and got me outta there in like 30 minutes. Bada-Bing! And my suggestion: Do as I did. If you're gonna bring your own parts BE SURE to bring them OEM parts that've been sourced from a dealer's online systems (many of which, like Tustin Toyota, give 20-40% discounts when buying online) or a reputable OEM vendor using your actual VIN # so you don't waste your time or theirs w the wrong part. So yeah, these guys're honest, fast, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I'd give 10 stars if I could. read more

Been using this company for several years. They always back up their work. I'm really happy to see the younger guys stepping u and getting the repairs done. We recently had a broken transmission. They gave us 3 different options and we choose the more expensive one because it had a better warranty. Well one of the parts broke and we had to take the truck back for additional repairs. It was all covered under the warranty. Great Job guys!! read more

I cannot express my appreciation enough for Hector and Bobby. I was having a recurring issue and they were able to diagnose and fix the actual problem. Hector has communicated effectively and professionally. Thank you for the wonderful service. read more

I have an older car and whenever it needs anything (quick fixes, routine service, or major repairs) I take it to H.A.D. I was originally referred to them by a coworker and have since referred them to others in my office, following them to their current location. They're always great about educating me on the problems, potential problems or maintenance of my car and I trust them to always give me information so that I can make an educated decision when we discuss my options. It's nice to be able to trust the people working on my car and they genuinely care about their customers. read more

Hector and Bobby are great guys. H.A.D. did a complete overhaul on my brakes and also replaced my drive shaft on my 1999 Toyota 4 Runner (over 360k miles). I totally recommend anyone having any car issues to stop by H.A.D. and have these guys take a look at it Thank you Hector and Bobby for getting the 4runner dialed in. Will deffinately be seeing you guys real soon! read more

This place is complete trash. I bought a car off of them, which said on their ad, "the car runs great. Owned by a mechanic." and in less then a month there was a problem with the car (EPC light). I've been back to them three times, in less then three months, in order to get rid of the EPC light that cause my car to miss fire. The last went there 9/8/2021 they replace the remain three coils, because they told me that was the problem. Not more then 2 week later, 9/20/2021 my starter completely stops working. They tell me it cost $960 to replace a starter for 2009 Audi A4. Google how much that cost? These guys a scam artist and no one should be doing business with people like them. I had my car towed somewhere else, at my cost, just on principle. H.A.D Automotive are a bunch of Youtube mechanics who either don't know what they are doing or will try a scam you to keep coming back. read more

I didn't want to update the review but the inconvenience it caused me since Hector denied fixing my car in the middle of the process I had no choice but to beware the customers before they go to HAD Auto. I took my car to Hector for a check engine light. After the diagnostic he told me the total and it was completely unexpected. I trust Hector so I was fine with it but my wife decided to get a second opinion. Her family is pretty car savvy and her uncles own auto repair shops in the mid-west. They ran the numbers on the problems Hector told me about and there were some big differences in certain part pricing and hours it would take to fix a few things. I emailed hector with full disclosure thinking that he won't take offense to it and would look at it from my perspective and either come up with a better solution or explain to me where he came up with those numbers. Instead I got a call from Hector saying he doesn't feel warm and fuzzy to continue doing business with me and he wants me to come pick up the car. I needed my car fixed by the end of that week because we were going on a road trip. Even after apologizing and asking him to continue working on the car and consider this conversation never took place he denied to fix my car and left me stranded. It caused me lots of headaches and pain to find another mechanic I can trust and for that Hector deserves less than 1 star and I hope people read this review and understand where I am coming from. read more

My husband and I have been coming to Had Automotive since 2011. I have to say that we have had nothing but great experiences getting our vehicles serviced and repaired here. Hector and his son Bobby have been more than accommodating in every situation when it comes to repairing our multiple cars. What ever your problem is they have the solution. I own a Camry Hybrid and thought that I would have to do all my repairs at the dealership which means paying top dollar for the service. Hector and Bobby are very knowledgeable about Hybrids and know just what to do. If you need to replace your hybrid battery don't go to the dealership unless you are still under warranty. Mine was up unfortunately but Hector went out of his way to find me a good deal and installed a refurbished battery with a warranty for me in a very timely manner. I plan on driving my car till the wheels fall off or it disintegrates and I am confident that Had Automotive will keep me on the road safe and sound. I have also had my brakes and air conditioner serviced and replaced here and have had only the best service here. To all the females out there who dread going to get your cars fixed any where else besides the dealership because your afraid of being lied to and taken advantage of by the lack of knowledge that you have about your car, have no fear. Hector will take care of you and not jerk you around like others do. I find the dealership will take advantage of your situation the most and charges you more for things you don't need. Thank you Had Automotive! read more

H.A.D. Auto is AWESOME!!! Honest people, excellent work, timely performance! What more could you ask for in an automotive repair shop...and did I say they are HONEST!! No BS here! We've used their services for years and years (18 years!). Hector & Bobby are the best!! Excellent Service. They do live up to the name HONEST & DEPENDABLE. Thank you for all you've done through the years fixing our entire family's cars (mom, Chad, Jackie, Bob & Tyler and let's not forget my mom! she loved brining you her car for an oil change). Hector always let's me know if a belt is looking weak and needs replacing when I come in for oil changes. Wanted to get my car checked out make sure everything was running smooth.. it made a crazy noise when turning. They checked it out and found a chunk of rubber in the wheel area and fixed some other things from running over something. Made sure everything else was working and nothing was leaking. Could have easily been hustled and charged for a bunch of stuff that didn't need fixing, but these guys were honest. Such a relief not having to worry about that and couldn't be more pleased with their service. read more

I love going here because they always take care of me really well. I've only been here for oil changes and regular maintenance but their service has always been amazing. They get it done pretty quickly if you can come first thing in the morning and wait for the car! read more

Going to a new mechanic always makes me nervous - especially being female and having a car that's 12 yrs old. Luckily, I was already aware of a couple things my car needed so when they did a full inspection and only came back with those items I knew of, I knew I could trust them. The repairs were done quickly, my car is running great and the price wasn't bad either. I highly recommend HAD for your automotive repairs. read more

Been coming to the H.A.D family for my work for 10 Years. They are the only shop around that does consistent work from oil and brakes to replacing belts and carburetors. Hector and hit crew are always fair with pricing and get It done right and on time. read more

Trustworthy and honest owner and his mechanics. Went in for transmission fluid change which took about 20 minutes at a very reasonable price. The mechanics were also fine with my observation on the sideline, even taking the tiny effort of showing me the label of the fluid that was going into my car, as well, proving that H.A.D. will use the correctly specified fluids. 10/10 will recommend to friends and family! Will be going here for all auto maintenance from here on. read more

Hector is great and honest. I bring all of my cars here. I think if someone says they are not good or honest, then those people are not happy with anything and must bitch all the time about everything. I bring all of my cars here and have for years. I will not go anywhere else. I appreciate it when Hector tells me not to worry about things that others state I should replace at a high cost. Always coming here with my cars and have referred him to several of my clients who are happy. read more

If your looking for an honest mechanic Hector @ HAD Automotive is the place to go. I was told by 2 different auto places that I needed new brakes and rotors, so searching for a fair price I found HAD Automotive on Yelp. When Hector checked my brakes he called me and told me that my brakes were at 80% and that I did not need them. WOW a honest mechanic is a dream come true.... I would love to say thank you to Hector and Bobby for being straight up and not trying to up-sell me on something I did not need. Don't dare waste your time with big overpriced nation wide companies. I will take my other cars there when needed. He took the time to explain the factors to me. Two thumbs up!!!!!!! read more
