Absolutely wonderful…read more We were on a combined business trip/vacation and stayed 6 nights. Here's what we liked: - Excellent location, just a few blocks from the major sights in the old city. - Really fabulous breakfast buffet. - Excellent rooftop restaurant, with views across the old city and Bosporus. - Turkish Bath and massage. - Wonderful staff, provided excellent assistance with recommendations for local restaurants, information, scheduling, etc. - Rooms on the upper two floors have the best views - ours looked over the old walls of the adjacent park area, could watch parrots and other birds flying and landing in the park trees. Room was comfortable and well equipped. - Hotel is about 40 meters from a tram stop - very convenient. - Really made us feel like we were at a home-away-from-home. Would we recommend it to others? Yes. Would we stay there again? Yes.

LOVED this hotel! It…read morewas a beautiful, magical place you would find after driving down tiny winding roads for 15 minutes. And when you get there and come through the gates, a stunning little hotel awaits. A small marble courtyard, and old-style building, completely with a small winding staircase. The furnishings in the rooms was a beautiful romantic French style - from the headboard to the beautiful phone on the nightstand. The bathrooms were small but pretty, equipped with Turkish bath facilities also. The hotel restaurant overlooked the pool and offered a sublime view - it was basically a rooftop patio! The breakfast every morning was a nice spread of at least 5 types of delicious cheeses and bread, along with fresh cherries, tomatoes, jam, and some eggs and cold cuts. It was an absolute TREAT every single morning. The front desk staff were super warm, friendly and approachable. There are also steam room and Turkish bath facilities which are a little bit confusing if you're not sure what to do. All in all, this hotel was gorgeous, and I would highly recommend it!

The first room, had a really beat up shower and they moved us a few days into the stay. The new room was a little smaller but had an amazing view. The breakfast every morning was the perfect way to start the day. The young gentleman that took care of us each morning was a delight. Eggs, bread, cheeses, cold cuts and a variety of other things included in traditional Turkish breakfast were available. The hotel manager, Mr Osman, was the best. Always welcomed us and said hello when he saw us. Oh also, he's a cat. Hehe super sweet boy, usually sleeping on the couch in the lobby. The owner was a real delight. So nice. Always joking. And super friendly. Awesome stay, especially for the price.
