Fries
Kareem A.

Really enjoyed the lamb, the hummus, the salad was tasty, and very enjoyable fries. The service was good, quick, and the food cart pod is in a great location. Love that Gyro World is there, I often crave lamb over rice or baklava. Lots of tables, even some games outside, loved it.

I'm surprised there are only a couple reviews. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced, with generous portions. The owner was also really nice.

Arguably the best lamb gyro I've ever had. Get the hot sauce and the homemade garlic sauce!

Mamma Khouri's is a "hidden gem" in Portland! This restaurant serves Middle Eastern food, which I…read morehad never tried before visiting here. Some of the food was similar to Indian food, like the rice and lentil dishes. My friends and I tried the falafel sandwich, tabouleh, mujadra, and lentil soup. Everything was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the falafel, which was not try at all, and the lentil soup, which was flavorful and perfect for a chilly day. The owner was super sweet, and he was happy to recommend dishes based on everybody's preferences / interests. Our food came out quickly because the restaurant was not very busy. My friends and I are already planning another trip here so we can try even more of their foods. I would recommend trying this restaurant with a large group of people so you can taste many different dishes!

Price/portion size was decent for lamb. Kabobs were all flavorful. Rice was also seasoned with something. Plates run in the $2x range Overall it is a nice meal

I came in with friends who are vegan and gluten-free, and before we even had to ask, the staff marked up our menus with everything they could eat. Not just a couple sad options either. A ton of them. This kind of consideration is something I've noticed across Portland, and it's a big part of why I love visiting. Food-wise, we had some real standouts. The roasted carrots were deeply flavorful, the curried black lentil salad had that perfect balance of hearty and bright, and the tahini ice cream was one of those desserts you keep thinking about after the trip ends. Also, do not skip the beer with a slushy float. It sounds chaotic, but somehow it works. Fun, refreshing, a little unexpected. Come hungry, especially if you're dining with mixed dietary needs. Everyone will leave happy

Shalom y'all in SE Portland. This might be my favorite tapas-style Mediterranean spot in the city…read more Went for the first time and got lucky snagging a seat at the bar, always the best way to experience a place like this. The vibe is warm and lively without being overwhelming, and the staff were genuinely helpful and welcoming. Every plate we tried delivered. The pita alone deserves a shoutout, fresh, warm, and dangerously easy to keep eating. Standout dishes: Hummus & Spicy Lamb Merguez Gravlax Lamb Carnitas Street parking wasn't too bad, which is always a win in SE. Honestly, I'd come back for the atmosphere as much as the food. Couldn't recommend it more. Go. No need to thank me later.
