The Gym delivers overall awesome-ness. I generally stay away from Personal training and get the next best thing. Their classes. Kangoo - Sort of like Ski boots on top of elliptical springs. Surprisingly good cardio. Jason is awesome for this class. Make sure you get the right size boots and wear longer than ankle socks or else you can hurt yourself! Zumba - fun dance class easy on the joints and not hard to follow. Stilletto - Great dance class and yes, bring your sexy, sexy stilettos, dancing like a Pussy Cat Doll is hard work and you'll feel it for days later in your legs, thighs and bum, especially if Natalie is your instructor! Yoga/PIlates - Decent instruction but wished their mats were cleaner. There are plenty of mats with shoe prints still on the mat. Gross. I've actually come in early to clean mine off and wait for it to dry. I'm bringing my own next time. Kettlebells - one of the Personal Trainers was Olympic qualified or actually did the event. It's amazing stuff Boxing - a proper ring. They give you gloves but it's iffy in the wrist so bring your own if you like. I think it's the fear of getting hit that makes you sweat more. Spinning - Rooms is a bit small but they have 2 or 3 a day and it's not always full! Garuda - Martial Arts type. The Krav Maga replacement. Sad to see KM go and I haven't done it but i trust the gym to deliver good classes. Pole dancing class - Do not wear Body lotion on the day of the class. Wear your shortest shorts. Those 2 alone will help you cling to the pole better. Sign up early. Classes fill up and Flo is awesome. She's truly elegant and Cirque du Soleil-esque. Warrior - Having a bad day? Choreographed Hitting and kicking at a standing sandbag and envision the target of your angst. Hi-eee-ya! There are lots more and Gymbox is funny, they make up odd classes now and then. Hello Rave (party class?) and Hellcats (cheerleading class). So you never know what you'll see on the schedule next. Always fun, I've never been bored working out here.

Difficult to locate is probably the worst aspect about this location. It's on the third floor in the village.

0/5 TAKE CARE OF YOUR MONEY - DONT TRUST THEM Misleading,…read moreunfair and possibly fraudulent Do NOT trust 1Rebel. My experience as a 19-year-old student was a nightmare - and I want to warn others before they lose hundreds like I did. - In November 2024, I joined 1Rebel after being told I could buy 10 sessions for £144 - with no mention of a long-term contract. I followed the instructions and paid. I attended 6 sessions and that should have been the end of it. - In March 2025, I bought a further 10 sessions for £220. Then, without any authorisation, 1Rebel charged that card £144 four times - a total of £720 in just two days - for a '12-month contract' that I was never told about, that I never agreed to and that I never signed. - When I complained in person I was told I was supposedly entering into a 12 month contract - something I never saw, signed or agreed to. We were never notified in advance of the recurring charges and they charged a completely different card to the one used for the original purchase. What is happening now? It has been almost 4 months and I still have not received my money back. There has been 1 phone call and 12 emails between me and 1Rebel and still no resolution. No refund and no compensation. All my complaints against 1Rebel have been either ignored or misrepresented: - I claimed it was against the Consumer Rights Act to make bulk transactions if the transactions were to be made monthly - 1Rebel said it was probably because my card was not working during those months (my card was working, it is the only card I use in my day to day life) - I claimed that when I purchased what I didn't know was a membership there was no warning about the cancellation policy and refund policy. - 1Rebel sent me screenshots claiming there were warnings about the policy, I went on my phone, my laptop, through the website and the app to check if this was true and it was not, STILL there were no warnings. - I was told I shouldn't have any questions as it was all in the T&Cs. - The only time I saw these T&Cs was when I created a 1Rebel account... in 2023!!!!!!! If you are forcing people to sign a contract for 12 months you should at least have some warning that it is a trap and you can't cancel until the contract is fulfilled. I am still trying to fight for justice and my rights... Avoid 1Rebel at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They trap customers in hidden contracts, charge unauthorised fees, and ignore your rights. There are much better, more ethical fitness providers in London. I have heard a lot of similar cases lately and am now collecting them to prepare a class action lawsuit and complaint to the consumer protection regulators. If you have encountered such violations, write to me at 1rebelfraud@gmail.com and together we will retain our rights and demand compensation

They've just come under different owners, and the new proprietors are aiming to capture a bigger share of the luxury consumer pie by trying harder to position themselves in that cachet of exclusivity and cool - limiting the total members to somewhere around 1700. I'd say they have a bit of work to do. Much like Shoreditch House (and maybe this is where they got the idea that they had a chance of being its pseudo-version in the first place) Body Works West has a beautiful pool... clear sparkling water of a gentle chlorine colour, surrounded by calming neutral tones and blues; the pool is so serene, just looking at it makes the thought of a relaxing swim a very compelling idea (I had to hold myself back from jumping in fully clothed - and I'm not even that big into swimming). Another nice thing about BWW is that they have a good number of power plates - those vibrating platforms that are supposed to boost your metabolism by 50% just by doing some light exercise and stretches atop them - it's a nice extra detail that hasn't hit mainstream gyms just yet, and especially nice if you've wanted to try one. The gym, however, is very small... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I guess I do tend to like more roominess and anonymity in my gyms. The classrooms looked especially tiny - definitely not the sort where you can hide in the back. And I absolutely hated their elliptical machine setup- a single row of machines perched high up on sort of a makeshift balcony overlooking the weight/stretching area - the people working out up there looked awkward, and I can imagine why... who wants to be so prominently on display while panting away? In case it catches your fancy, however, you should know that there are DVD players attached to the machines - so that you can sweat away to whatever comedy or action film will make your workout less painless. The manager who gave us our tour (sorry sister to the other manager, Thea, I forget your name...) was a bit strange... ice-cold and uncomfortable to be with - maybe it's because we didn't fit into her image of the new cool customers they are looking for... but still, it certainly tainted my image of the place - if I were rating the gym just based on my encounter with her, it would get 1 star. Seriously, I couldn't wait for our 'tour' to be over so that hard stare and furrowed brow would stop. Thankfully, the rest of the staff that we interacted with were very courteous and nice. While there are some true destination gyms out there with too-rad classes and fantastic fringe benefits, I think gym membership decisions unusually come down to the convenience factor - so if Body Works West is close to you - it certainly has the requisite weights, classes, machines, etc. most gym rats are looking for - so nothing should stop you from joining. But if you don't live nearby...no matter how prestigious this place wants to be, it certainly doesn't offer anything that would make a person want to put in any extra effort to be a member.

It's owned and…read morerun by a New Yorker who wants it to be a full-service gym with all the bells and whistles. The gym itself has about 10 treadmills, 8 ellipticals, 5 cycles, 2 rowing machines, 3 power plates and all the weights and equipment one could want. If you're there off-peak then you basically have the place to yourself! Every member has free monthly training sessions, but the trainers don't do much in the way of helping you out when you're on their own -- they are either too busy chatting with each other or giving privates. Being from New York, I expect attention from trainers even if I am not in a session, but I guess they just do things differently here. I recommend Fabio for men, Simon for everyone and the new girl (Kia?) for women. The classes are great and I think Daniel is one of the best reformer pilates around. The steam room, sauna, pool and hot tub get me motivated to actually get to the gym, and Beauty Works West, next door, offers a whole range of spa treatments. The lobby downstairs is always very nice with internet connection, daily newspapers, tea, coffee, a TV and magazines. My criticisms are mainly due to the workers, in particular Thea or something similar who works on accounts and signed me up. Never in my life has someone working in the service industry -- let alone a luxury health spa/gym -- been so incredibly rude and demeaning. I have thought about writing directly to the owner to voice my complaints, but maybe via avenues like this people will get the message. She has a serious attitude problem and every time there has been an error with our account (yes, more than once!) we have been blamed and scolded (!) I think she needs to get out of client services pronto, but anyhow, avoid her and your experience there can be care free and lovely!

I was greeted by a very friendly women, who assured me they had everything i'd need. So i agreed to visit the location in Kilburn. The gym is quite big, and has everything you'd need to get in a good workout. It has a squat rack, a smith machine, a bench press, an incline and decline bench press, and tons of benches. It also has multiple cardio machines, ranging from treadmills to bikes, to ellipticals. They also have TRX bands set up for use. The bathrooms are small, yet clean. The only thing missing from the females change room is a full length mirror. The staff are friendly, and helpful. The only issue i have had is waiting for the squat rack. The price is the best part. Fit4Less is half the price of Fitness First, its opening hours are much better, and all in all, its a much better gym!
