There are a range of products to select from- both for older and younger audiences, which makes it a great spot to buy for multiple people. Inside, however the place is kind of magical. The first thing you see when you enter is a large display of toys made from recycled plastic, complete with dirt and tools. Everywhere you turn, there's another awesome, well put together toy or baby gear display. The merchandise is divided by age appropriate items. Just when you think you're done, there's a large circular staircase down to another level, where the toys for older children are located. One of the best things is how "hands on "kid friendly it is; it's a total no judgment zone! Tons of sample toys have been laid out for kids to actually play with! She stated that they had not bought them from the customer yet. So I kind of waited around the register looking at things. I watched two people come in and I heard them take the offer and both times she said walker. So I knew they were available. This girl had her back to me and put a sticker on the walker I wanted. And I walked up and said oh great is it available now? She turned around and said oh no it's not but this other one is. She handed me an older kind of more used one that didn't even have a sticker on it. Then her little friend tried to ring me up with it right then. I told her I wasn't done shopping. Then I watched this girl put the walker upside down on the floor. I asked a family member to go see if they would sell it to her. Same thing oh it's not available. Idk if she was saving it for someone or she wanted it for herself. But it was the only boy Mickey Mouse walker in the store. I ended up buying him a pink one from there just so he would have one at my house. I was ticked and I'm calling because that is ridiculous. Inside you can find Doterra essential oils, handmade soaps and lotions from a local artisan, diaper bags, backpacks, a small selection of jewelry, tumblers and a large selection of tee shirts (infant through adult sizes) ready to be personalize with vinyl or embroidery. I have bought many items from this boutique, the customer service varies from good to very bad. I…read moretry not to hold that against the boutique itself because every sales person does not have the same level of customer service but today will be my last day in this boutique due to their terrible return policy. I bought an item right before the COVID-19 shut down so of course I could not return it within the seven day return policy that they have in place. Seven day return policy I think is ridiculous anyway especially for people that may be from out of town. I pointed that out to the sales person working today and because they have been open for over two weeks since the shut down she said they couldn't return it. I have looked several times to see if they were open since shut down and today was the first time I saw them open. So if they are willing to lose a customer over a $20 shirt when I was prepared purchase 4 other ones and a dress then so be it .....I'm done with them! They get a -5 stars from this customer! To be clear I don't hold the sales person responsible, I hold the person whom she called on the phone to ask about that exchange responsible and I'm assuming that was her manager. I think most Retailers have been very flexible with exchanges and the time frame of exchanges due to Covid 19 pandemic shut down. Had she cited the reason she couldn't take the return back was because of COVID-19 and I may have reacted differently but that wasn't the reason I was given.
