As an almost 50 year old, I needed a piece of cardio equipment to complement my weight set that I have had for years. Visiting mainstream stores such as Sports Authority and Sears, I was not impressed by the selection of equipment nor the knowledge of the staff.
After researching Gym Source's website, I decided to visit the store. Once there, I met Chris Cesare. I told him my fitness goals. He listened and asked questions when needed. He then showed me the different cardio machines in the store, from the awesome Cybex Arc Trainer to the treadmills to the rowers to the bikes.
After seeing the selection and trying some of them, we continued to discuss my needs and ultimately, my budget. I decided to focus my attention on an EVO CX bike which was the lower price of most of the equipment, but Chris supported my decision based upon our conversations.
Chris then showed me a Schwinn model online that was comparable to the EVO. He arranged for it to be brought in from a different Gym Source store so that I could compare the two. He kept in contact with me during this time, and after maybe two weeks, I was able to visit him again to test ride the two bikes.
I eventually decided on the EVO. Chris and I spoke about the pros and cons of each bike. It was obvious he wanted the best for me.
After purchasing the EVO and perhaps 4-5 days later, Chris contacted me; there was an error in their inventory and no new EVO bikes were available. I was obviously concerned, but so was Chris; he was concerned that he let me down, and I could tell he was embarrassed.
To their credit, Chris and his management team went the extra mile and provided me complete satisfaction with their solution. I have the EVO bike as promised and as I had purchased. It was obvious that Chris and Gym Source as a whole wanted to ensure my happiness and ensure my customer satisfaction.
They did. I am 1000% satisfied with their service, their professionalism, and their commitment to excellence. I obviously highly recommend Gym Source.
