Very sad that I'm spending $70+ a month just for genesis to give away memberships and overcrowd the gyms. Won't be staying if this isn't fixed.

There's no care whatsoever for machines as they're frequently broken and left that way for months and it makes it very difficult to get an entire set in. I do not recommend this location, WITH a student discount it is still nearly $80 a month, and every month this cost becomes less justifiable. Very disappointing

They have a full range of weights including all types of barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, and more. Also, the best part of this gym is that the facility offers 24/7 access for members. The owners are very nice and really care about the quality of the equipment and cleanliness of the facility. I haven't done any personal training, but the trainers are always helpful and I have heard great things. They also offer a variety of other services including group classes and massages. The prices for memberships and services are very reasonable. If you're looking for a real weightlifting gym and a place to be surrounded by people working hard to improve themselves, this is the best place in Manhattan, KS.

They all have a malfunction. And when I tell them that they aren working correctly at all, all they do it put an out of order sign for a couple days, and then they take it off and it's the same. Every single treadmill at the location on port I have used consistently. Well, I've tried. And they just flat out need replaced. Something wrong with the motor. It's not "fixed". So stop acting like it is. People are paying over $50 a month. Maybe you should have working equipment. Used to say Genesis was expensive, but I'm realizing it's worth it. Because they have more income to be able to properly fix their equipment. Instead of opening the gym in Wamego, you could've fixed the facilities you already have.

I use this facility primarily for its lap pool. It is literally the only one in town. There is no…read morelifeguard on duty. The water is cloudy and I have observed the pool maintenance staff dumping a bucketful of chemicals directly into the water during lap time, there is a smell of chlorine after this happens. There is a swim lesson during the morning that is never on the schedule. They also use one lane for physical therapy, so between the therapy and the lesson there are 2 lanes out of commission during busy lap times. It is only a 6 lane pool. Doesn't seem to be any one who is managing this pool.

The woman who led our class (I think her name was Jessa) checked us in, and asked if we had any injuries, etc which I appreciated. I didn't bring a yoga mat so I borrowed one (which had a very nice smell... Which is sort of random, i know, but it was nice). Then we went into the studio, and it was so pretty! There were new hardwood floors, lots of windows, and a cool yoga photo on the front wall. It felt very welcoming. Jessa was a great teacher, very patient and helped me make small corrections. I went to the gentle flow one so it was pretty calm, but was told that there was another class after that was much harder. The one I was in had a wide range of people, which was nice. Jessa made it seem kind of familial, like in the beginning she said it was their 6th birthday on Saturday and they were going to have free classes and do a champagne toast after, and even if you didn't want to come to a class you could still come for the toast. Cool place. I'd definitely recommend trying it out for a class, whether you've never done yoga before or are just looking for a new place. It's free the first time, so either you find that you like it and come back, or you don't, but at least you tried something new. Either way, seems like a win to me :)
