Just as one goes to the zoo to see exotic animals or to a museum to see rare artifacts I would urge the public to visit GWR Kia to meet the most miserable barista I have ever met in the world. A great concept to have a Kia Cafe but sadly ruined by the young woman in her late teens/early 20s who clearly didn't want to be there. I wasn't sure if she'd had too much to drink Friday night, was on a downer or hated her life, as I write this maybe she's related to one of the Directors so the management are stuck with her. Do go and interact and judge for yourself.
The dealership looks like it ran out of budget part way through as the glass paneling and dealership size is impressive however GWR only has an up escalator and both the salespersons and receptionists desks looked very cheap. The architect lived up to the Kia slogan of Keeping it Affordable. Even the flooring reminded me of a budget supermarket.
Onto the cars, Kia have improved significantly but the prices are now on a par with more established brands such as VW and Toyota and both those brands guarantee the body against corrosion for 12 years, Kia still require annual inspections or the warranty is invalidated so some models could have no guarantee after a year unless customers have it inspected. Good thing about the area is about 12 Marques are represented within two miles so easy to compare pros and cons of each. read more
