I took the 1hr 49min ride to the Duluth Library to experience the engagement with Raymond Santana. Detailed as, "Join Raymond Santana, one of the Central Park Five, as he discusses his young adult illustrated memoir, "Pushing Hope," which reflects on his wrongful conviction and tireless fight for his 2002 exoneration." I was excited to be in the room. The Duluth Library was the perfect place to have this event. The space was huge. The sound system was perfect and went throughout the entire room and the way the room was set up was ideal for the audience to focus and be able to feel the emotions expressed with each word. More than just a library, the Duluth Library was a night of memoir engagement for me and I am so happy that I went and was able to be present. Overall, the Duluth Library is humungus, super clean, and is easy to navigate when looking for books. The staff was super friendly and greeted me upon walking in with smiles on their faces. If you're in the area and ready to engage with all the Duluth Library has to offer. Make sure to stop in and check out all you've been missing.

Plenty of outlets and USB ports. The staff is always super friendly, helpful and professional. Plenty of Mac Monitors to choose from. The selection of books are solid. Last, they have book club and author programs all the time that are well done and as someone mentioned you don't have to live in Gwinnett County to attend these programs. This is a great branch and I can't recommend it enough. During different times, the branch has kiosks that give out free COVID or flu testing kits. The people running this branch are really on top of it! Separate and apart from this review, this is also an Amazon Locker location.

This is my go to library. I didn't want to give this location a 3 star but there are some things…read morethat need work. I want to start with the good. Parking is always smooth and I love that it is covered. This location by far has one of the best views. There is nothing like doing your work in front of the large window at the peaceful fountain. You can even check out your book and enjoy it on the grassy area less than 20 feet away. The space is decent for allowing for different groups to have their own area. When I have a question while there about a book or hold I can always get prompt and good feedback. Now here are a few things that need work. I understand that the kids area appears to be open so when there are activities going on it can be loud to the others trying to read and work. I wish they had a door to reduce the sound. Which brings me to the next one which is noise. I'm not sure when libraries became so loud but it is quite literally why I go there to work for a quiet experience. Between the workers having conversations at the front with security or each other it can be so loud for me on Saturday's. This recent visit there was a kids event, people loudly talking on their phone and workers laughing/chatting simultaneously. I eventually left cause I could even hear it over my AirPods. I know I can book a room but I fear the experience would still be the same. I think I'm going to check out a couple other locations to see if this is equally an issue at other locations to be fair but this noise level is a real turn off. Would I return? Yes because the good outweighs the bad but I may have to alternate locations.

A beautiful public space that deserves more gratitude than criticism…read more I've seen a few low-star reviews about staff interactions, and honestly, I find them unfair. This library offers a free, clean, and modern facility for anyone who wants to read, study, or simply find a peaceful place to think -- and that's something we shouldn't take for granted. The Norcross Branch is bright, open, and thoughtfully designed -- with private study rooms, creative children's areas, and comfortable seating by the windows that make it easy to focus. Everything feels calm and cared for. Staff members have always been courteous and professional when I've visited. They manage a busy public space while keeping it welcoming and safe, which isn't easy work. If you need a quiet retreat to learn, write, or reflect, this library is a wonderful gift to the community. Let's appreciate it for what it is -- a place built for everyone, maintained with effort, and offered freely.

I'm a math tutor and met a student here several times, to study. They have a few very small rooms…read morefor people to meet quietly. It gets the job done, but I do wish the rooms were a bit bigger. Also there is often a bit of competition for the rooms, since demand for the rooms will spike soon after high school lets out. Still it's the best nearest option for studying in the area.

I am a regular patron of the Alpharetta GA Branch library. It is greatly disturbing, and…read moredisappointing about the ongoing issues with the poor sanitation, public computers and printers. Over the past several visits, I have noticed that the multiple computers are either out of service or functioning intermittently, and the printers frequently experience errors or downtown, and the computer monitor, mouse and keyboards are covered with food, hair, dirt, crumbs, and other unclean things, which makes it difficult for patrons to complete essential tasks such as sanitation, printing important documents, conducting research or applying for jobs. Please keep the public library clean, and the maintained. This is very concerning.

A first visit to this library branch in Johns Creek felt like stepping into a little haven. The…read moreentrance was lined with $1 books and a spot to donate your own, which instantly set a warm, community‑minded tone. Inside, the space is bright and peaceful, with huge windows overlooking the trees, plenty of cozy seating, quiet study nooks, and full access to computers. Stephanie, a librarian of 21 years, was a joy to talk to. She mentioned that visits have dipped since the pandemic, perhaps due to the rise of e‑books, but she wishes more people knew about the incredible resources that often go unused. Beyond books, there are digital tools, in‑person classes, access to new computers, and even free passes to Georgia state parks and the Chattahoochee Nature Center. That's a novel perk if there ever was one. It's a true community gem--welcoming, accessible, and a reminder that libraries offer something the digital world can't: connection. Stopping by your local branch might just be the best chapter you add to your week.

The most important thing is that the employees here are all nice and proactive in helping everyone. Special mention goes to Ellen. Update on "how it works" during covid. The library is still open for checkouts, but patrons can…read morenot go inside the library. This is easiest process to get materials: 1. Use online library website to reserve materials. 2. You will get an email when the materials are ready for pickup. 3. Library then has two phone call system. First call is to reserve a time for pickup of materials at the library. 4. After you arrive at the library at appointed time, second call is to tell the librarian you are outside. 5. Librarian will bring the materials outside and put them on white table with zero contact. 6. You pick up your materials and head home. Sort of convoluted, but good procedure to protect patrons and librarians. Please see my previous review for more information on the library.

I come here all the time to tutor high school and college students. It has a bunch of study rooms…read morethat you can reserve for free. They're clean, quiet, and spacious. It's often hard to get a reservation since they're usually booked up, but it still is really great when I get one. If I can't, then there is a larger room which doesn't require reservations, where people can still meet and talk -- however, since we're all in there together it's often louder and with small children. But it can still work. Also the rest of the library has a number of chairs and tables where one can work quietly, and again it's quite nice, spacious, bright, clean. So this is a great library to get work done or spend some time reading. I don't have a lot of experience with the book selection or ordering books, although I did go looking for a bunch of pre-calculus textbooks once and they had a nice large selection already on the shelves. The staff is always pleasant and tries to keep the line at the front desk moving, so I appreciate their work and professionalism! Also, quick plug for my own services: If anyone needs tutoring for advanced math like advanced placement calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and more, feel free to get in touch! :)

We were applying for our passports at this location thinking they wouldn't be busy, and it seems so was everyone else. My boys enjoyed being there and had problem waiting with us. It took over an hour but we read, colored, and busy ourselves with their little activities. They also had books and dvds for sell which I need to go back to browse. Price ranged from 50 sents to two dollars.
