The place has an array of wines to select from and prices vary. He mentioned of the wine tasting tour they have in Cherasco, but unfortunately our time was limited in town and we wouldn't have the chance to take this tour that sounded like a day of fun! They do offer packing and shipping so you don't have to luggage it home. But, we opted to luggage it home and he was kind enough to bubble wrap and box the wines we had purchased. I'm on the emailing list, and I dream when I get the email's, that I could just hop in the car are visit the store for some good deals... darn, it's only a dream. But, I hope we return one day soon.

It is also a wine shop where you can find lots of good wines for all prices, including the numerous locally famous Nebbiolo and Barolo wines. Well, needless to say I bought a little bit of this and a little bit of that. It's been months since we have returned home, but I can still taste the beautiful, smooth chocolates, melting on my tongue, oh, so yummy! The employee was glad to answer this tourist questions. Most of my questions were, what is this, what is that? You won't be sorry you entered this chocolate galore store.

Fabulous wine store with "so much more"…read more... Strolling the streets of Alba this evening, I came across Enoteca Le Torri. They have a large selection of wine - specifically most from the Piemonte region. (A lot of Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, etc...) I was specifically looking for Brachetto d'Acqui. And since it's difficult to purchase Brachetto in the States, I made sure to buy one bottle tonight. I don't think it'll last much longer than the balcony of my B&B tonight... ha! But fortunately they had a bunch of little "reminder signs" in the store alerting you that they can ship wines internationally. Other than wine, they also had some nice gifts - -some pastas, and a bunch of various cookie bags, other food products local to the area. Glad I stopped in... they were friendly too!
