My exit was handled very badly, my cancellation document, which I signed and have a copy of, was never sent to the insurer, so weeks later I had to call the insurer directly and get that taken care of myself. But this wasn't the only time, many times in the past I could never get my agent to call me back. I guess she was off chasing big commercial real estate deals, and we private homeowners are too small to care about? They will sell you a home policy without disclosing…read moreyou all the eligibility requirement by the company, then if your house is a little older, the insurance company will just cancel your premium without giving you sufficient time to upgrade (like a whole house of piping upgrade from steel pipe), but not refund the $75 agent fee and $59 inspection fee. The inspection was not even ordered by us, it purely benefited the insurance company, why should we pay in this situation. Also no refund of the agent fee either. What is worse is that the agent will not do anything but just let you deal with the insurance back & forth. If i can give zero star, i would.
