I asked him to open up an attic access in the kitchen ceiling, but he suggested to do the attic access in the hallway instead where it would not be an eyesore. Great idea! Also, he reminded me that after putting in the drywall in the garage, that the City Building and Planning department first needs to do a Rough Inspection, before they can proceed with putting fire tape on fire rated drywall seams. That saved be some time by ordering the inspection early on, because the City inspectors are backed up big time. Two great suggestions! His estimate is also very competitive out of 3 other estimate I got. Pena Drywall is highly recommended!

Ronnie is honest, kind and knowledgeable - he told us we likely had an issue with water leaking through the shower door track. He recommended a handyman when we asked who could help replace our shower door. Once we addressed the source of the leak, Ronnie came back. Had a small hole cut in the wall to confirm the surrounding wood & drywall didn't have mold or extensive damage, which was a huge relief. He showed us pictures as well. Hole was patched up within hours. He and Diego let us know when everything would be dry and ready for prime and paint (which we did ourselves). He even sent us a thank you note in the mail afterward :) If you're looking for an honest professional, then highly recommend Hole in the Wall. Thanks Ronnie!

They were prompt, communication is top notch (Hector actually answers the phone) and when we had a couple of issues they came right back and took care of it. All in all I couldn't be happier and I would definitely hire them again.

Last summer, they painted the entire exterior from a dirty dull beige to a lively white with black trim. They patched up all the holes/cracks in the stucco, power washed, and taped EVERYTHING! At the end of each day, they cleaned up and put away the tools so the house was still accessible. It's crazy how different the house looks compared to before. I'm just loving it! Then over the winter, Chris' team returned because I wanted my garage refinished. I had 70s paneling and broken/crumbling dry wall. Considering how much time I spend in my garage, I can't believe I lived with such an eye sore for so many years. I gave Chris the hard task of wanting smooth walls, and if you know...that's a whole lot of sanding. His team came through and delivered! I love the new paint color on the walls, and no longer despise my garage. Oh, and also want to mention that he also patched up a bunch of holes inside my house (from electrical work I had done) and matched the existing wall texture and paint. You can't even tell the difference. Overall, Chris is amazing to work with. He's super responsive via text/calls. He's worked with many contractors over the years, and can give referrals if additional work is needed for your home. I would definitely recommend All Purpose Painting to my friends and family.
