We initially chose CHRC to build our screened in patio because of their stellar reviews, but we…read morehave regretted that decision every day since the project was deemed "complete". While Harold was nice, his crew was completely incompetent and did not deliver the quality we were promised. One wall of our patio was installed so that it was not plumb (ie: crooked) and the screen door does not close. The painted aluminum has so many knicks in it and there are so many holes created by crew mistakes that, for the price that we paid, the patio looks like an untrained DIY-er installed it in a few hours. Since we have a two year labor warranty, we have requested that the crew come back out to fix the damages they made during install. They have been here twice, after us calling and emailing over and over again with constant brushes aside, but our wall and door are still not resolved. It has been over two months, and no one at that company seems to care about helping to resolve their mistakes. For the construction we received, this company is severely over-priced. EDIT: After we posted this poor review, the company finally contacted us. The original contractor came out again to install a new door. Upon installing the brand new door, he once again installed it incorrectly and once again blamed the door itself rather than his work. The screen door arm was installed in the incorrect location, which prevents the door from catching and closing gently, and the handle was not screwed in as per the directions either, causing the handle to bind up with opening and closing. Also, the door was not the only issue, as we still have multiple holes all over our aluminum patio from mis-installed hardware. A lot of the hardware is also stripped out and will not tighten down. We still have visible scratches all over the aluminum from knife marks that were only painted over rather than sanded and painted. Most importantly, our wall is still not plumb and therefore will continue to warp over time, which will make closing the door harder and harder. The company owner is blaming all of this on the contractor's personal issues. If personal issues are affecting performance, it would be responsible of a company to send a different contractor to complete a task rather than having a customer receive poor craftsmanship. We are sympathetic of his situation, but we are customers and not friends. Besides his personal situation, he also blamed his poor performance on bad eye sight after he returned to fix his mistakes the first time. We will not be allowing that contractor back to our home and will not be recommending nor using this company in the future.

When there was a problem getting our windows to us at the original date because one of our huge picture windows cracked during the shipping process, owner Jerry Mashburn called me himself to apologize, explain the situation and reschedule with me. Jerry cares so deeply about the reputation of his company and it is so evident. Our windows were installed by the charming and ridiculously hard-working Brandon and Dustin. These guys are so respectful of people's homes. You will never have to worry about their conduct: they are consummate professionals. There's a reason YHW has so many 5-star reviews. They're all well-earned and you can have full faith in them. Side note: We hemmed and hawed about getting a garden window because, in essence, they're four windows in one and as such are quite pricey. Having got one, I can confidently say they're well worth it. We love ours. So do our cats.

Their sales person Alan King, was very personable and professional and took his time answering all of our questions and explaining all of our options. The owner, Jerry Mashburn, kept us well informed every step of the way. We were told the windows would arrive in 8-12 weeks. They arrived in 5! They called on Sunday before Labor Day and wanted to know if they could start installing on Tuesday. Their installers, Dustin and Brandon were very nice and professional, and explained the order that things would be done in, and estimated the job would be complete by Thursday. By Wednesday evening they were done and they are absolutely beautiful. Everything was cleaned up and back where it came from. They were very conscientious about keeping as much heat out of the house while the windows were being changed out. They were very careful with the installation and every thing went very smoothly, and we are extremely happy with the results. We are so happy with our windows and have already noticed that our two rooms with the most windows are staying 4-8 degrees cooler than they were with the old windows. I can't wait to see how much we will be saving on our utility bills! If you need replacement windows this is the place to go!

My porch was rotting at the bottom and the screens needed to be replaced! The molding around the door was rotting - you could almost see through to the kitchen! Painting ... repair ... they did it all! The attention to detail, ensuring that the trim matched the pre-existing trim, the dedication... It was incredible! Yonni even advised me on my color choice of paint, which was a real blessing as my original choice would have been a disaster! This was definitely a weight off of our backs! They were the best! Beth is kind and patient with scheduling and checking up, etc. She explained things and was able to answer every question we posed to her. She was also very flexible in allowing us to add some extra work on after we had already signed the contract! Everything was done so well that we have decided to go with them for two more restoration/remodel projects! We are thrilled to be on their schedule!

Stay very far away from this company. Long story short, ordered all new windows for my house...over…read more24 windows. All windows order by EcoView were wrong size. Verified in writing by owner, Rick Joyner. 2 inches to narrow on all sides. Installers put them in anyway knowing they were the wrong size. They didn't use any insulation, the frames are stretched, windows don't open or close properly. 2 inch gaps on all sides! Some were not even ordered after multiple attempts. Multiple installers, damage to my home, still not fixed, still missing windows, supposed to re-order all windows and replace with correct size on an expedited order that I was told would take 10 days. After over a month of me following up, I was told that they were on order but late and Rick Joyner would call me. He never called, quit responding to my texts, emails, and phone calls. I have filed a claim with his insurance, filed a complaint with the BBB of Huntsville, and retained an attorney.

We have received neither our doors nor our money back. We have a slew of text messages between us and both Rick and David as proof of the corruption that goes on at EcoView Windows & Doors of North Alabama also known as Huntsville Renovations Center. David was trying to steal business from Rick by getting us to sign a contract with him and suggesting we get rid of our former contractor and that we stop doing business with Rick. David then turned around and called my husband a shyster?! I guess customers are supposed to have more faith in Rick and his business since he is a veteran as well as a foster and adoptive parent. That doesn't change who you are. My husband is also a veteran and we are also foster and adoptive parents. That didn't change how we were treated. A complaint has been submitted to the Better Business Bureau servicing North Alabama as well.
