If I could give zero stars I would. He came out to create a quote. I asked him to email the quote an he said he don't do that. So he texted me the quote. I asked him to come back for a check to get started, which he blew off the first meeting then was two hours late for the next. He walked around the building and said he didn't see the extra 50-60 ft. of gutter and had to send another quote (I was not happy getting jerked around). With the new quote I was ready to go forward if he provided proof of insurance. He went silent after that. Mike and his crew were awesome. They arrived on time and Mike was communicative during the whole process telling me what all they would be doing. There was some gutters that were unnecessary which his crew did not replace. They put up fascia board to cover that area. My old gutters were full of crud. Everything looks great now and Mike has honest and fair pricing. One company quoted triple the price, which is just further proof many contractors are just price gouging these days. Put in gutters and gutter helmet over 4 years ago and looked like everything was good till squirrels found an opening where he never put the guard on now I have squirrels running in my gutters tried to call and he never responds to any message you leave, go some place else to get your gutters done. Mike, the Gutter Guy, gladly accepted my money for gutters,downspouts and gutter helmets, however, it has NEVER worked as well as BEFORE he did the work. The rain runs over the gutter helmets not into the gutters. I had huge icicles this winter as a result. Twice he has committed to come out to repair the issue and not shown. He does not return calls and does not stand behind his work. My recommendation: DO NOT GIVE HIM YOUR BUSINESS! He does not stand behind his work. read more
