He was thorough, knowledgeable, and patient in explaining all the details & answering questions about his plan & that of the anesthesiologist. The surgery went very well and his PA, Orrin Rice, was equally professional & helpful in the post-op followup. My mother said Dr. Ure and his PA were both pleasant and kind to her, as she describes herself as a "high maintenance person" I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Ure.

I was finally able to be seen for a checkup from a different dentist and they said my tooth had been really badly decayed and now I have to have a root canal or an extraction because of it. I had tried calling other dentists around here as well in the past and they said the same thing due to COVID we can't see you or that doesn't sound serious. Even though I said my tooth is hurting extremely bad and my feeling is coming on my tooth and it's broken and it's costing me a lot of pain to where I can't sleep. They acted as though if I was lying. My tooth has gotten so much worse because of it. I am not very happy with this dentistry. Something serious like a tooth is not something to play around with. I had a family member who almost died due to an issue with his tooth. It's sad that a lot of places are using covid as an excuse not to see patients.

June 12, 2024, I slipped on a bottle with my right foot and tore my left quad muscle in half when…read moremy leg twisted, my PCL and inner ligament almost in half. after getting bounced from dr to dr for a couple weeks, Dr Schillen saw me end of June and rushed my appointment for surgery to July 8, 2024. surgery was great, recovery was excellent, after 3 months of Physical Therapy, I was sent home and told to do anything I wanted just to be careful, now is April 15 of 2026. I cannot even tell I had an injury. I walk up to 18k steps per day at times, with a daily average of between 9k to 11k depending on our projects. I'm 67 and still cruising like I'm 40. Thank you Dr Schillen and your entire staff, the entire staff in Physical Therapy led by Mr. Martin no acquaintance, I also would like to recognize the PA beautiful lady that saw me to start with when i first went to the office at Shasta Orthopedics and couldn't walk. He is good at communicating all of the options available to you and is really good at dumbing them down to help you understand exactly what would be taking place and what impact that would have. He is courteous and will give his advice but seems to be very conscious of when you want to hear it and when to withhold it. I wouldn't want anyone else operating on me. I had multiple friends come to him for other surgeries and they also had nothing but the best things to say about him. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Schillen especially if you are an athlete. 17/17 on the snasty scale

I was referred to shasta orthopedics & they would not let me even be seen or even have a consultation unless I filled out their huge very invasive extensive paperwork ..I told them I cannot write so much with all of my injuries, but they dont care ..because it is all about them ...they were rude and bossy and so unconcerned about my pain and condition and did not offer to help fill out the paperwork at all ...also I tried to contact a doctor on the weekend, and no one was available ,,the recording said press # 1 to speak to a doctor but that number never rang ..so I can see that I would not get any follow up care & their after hours doctors are non-existent plus these doctors are getting so bold and demanding, they expect us to give them a synopsis of our entire life, asking us very inappropriate invasive questions that have nothing to do with why i went to them in the first place .. I am so sick of the way the medical industry is these days ...they have traded the Highly revered Hippocratic Oath for a selfish hypocritical oath of greed and power taking care of themselves , padding their own already thick wallets & they truly do not care about us at all...then they were sending me more mail when I told them i had no interest in playing their selfish uncaring inconsiderate games ..I would not recommend this place to anyone , & the other reviews i have read are the same ,,, so Shame on you !
