I initially got a quote from this business for 4 Method wheels, 4 Toyo AT3s, and a 4-inch Rough Country lift, plus additional charges such as tire mounting, balancing, lug nuts, and labor, which totaled $ 4,915.78. My Vehicle (96 Bronco) had some front-end issues that needed to be addressed, and I spoke with Jose and the owner about new radius arm components, new inner and outer tie rod components, and a sway bar from LMR. For this, I was charged an extra 5 hours of labor, totaling an additional $625. I dropped my vehicle off in the last week of October and was able to pick it up around the first week of December, although I had to call repeatedly for updates. During these times, the issue I ran into was a lack of communication. An example of this is that around the 2nd week, I called for an update, and I was told the work was delayed because my vehicle had a broken coil spring tower, which they needed my permission to weld. Another issue was that they installed an extra set of front shocks, which the kit did not require; this was resolved by them charging me for only one extra shock and offsetting the other by welding the coil spring tower. It was annoying, but I said whatever and paid to finally get my truck back on the road. Later that week, on December 6th, when I was driving back to Killeen (my grandma and mom were with me), the brakes gave out on my Bronco while I was driving through McGregor. Upon inspection, both front brakes were loose (most likely were not properly tightened by the shop). I was able to pull over near an O'Reilly's to retighten and add brake fluid. Additionally, the steering link/stabilizer had been rubbing on the front shocks, constantly scratching them. I called the shop and returned to the Bronco about 3-4 weeks later for them to do the brake fluid and replace the shock bushings, as the ones they had installed had cracked. During this time, Jose let me know by phone that they had found an improperly installed U-bolt on the rear of the Bronco and corrected it. After about a month and a half or two, I started having issues with the Bronco's camber visibly being off, driving was stiff, and shock bushings cracked again. When I went down to return the Bronco for a 2nd time, one of the techs immediately became defensive when I showed him screws and bolts that had become hand loose, as he blamed me for not bringing it in after the initial install, although I had done so due to them leaving my brake lines loose. They took the Bronco in and said the leaf springs were somehow twisted, and they replaced them, as well as the camber sleeves they said were needed to fix the alignment. I requested that the alignment be free, as I believed it was due to their not properly installing the kit (my assumption), and they said they would. Oh, and I'm pretty sure they messed with the break lines again because my ABS light came on and I had to bleed air out of the brakes for it to go off. When I came back to pick up my vehicle in mid-April, I was charged for the camber sleeves as expected, was discounted $125 for the alignment, and $625 for labor from the alignment. Above this, they told me they could not properly align the Bronco. I was extremely frustrated with the way they conduct business, pay, and leave. On April 24, I took my vehicle to another shop in Killen, where they said the steering link/stabilizer parts were still scratching the shocks and that there was an improperly installed bolt in a rear U-bolt rubbing against another piece of metal. The biggest surprise they found was that my Cross Beam was broken, which is why the camber and alignment were off, and the shocks were getting scratched. When I asked if it was possible that Truck Works Unlimited techs just missed it, the guy looked at me, laughed, and said no. I asked him if 5 hours of labor on alignment for the Bronco was reasonable, and again he laughed and said not at all. I am writing this about 3 months after my last interaction, as I had a conversation with a friend who was looking for a lift shop, and after hearing this, he pushed me to write a review to prevent others from sharing my experience. All-Star lockout recommended I bring to JNB. So we flat towed it 15 minutes through Waco after calling them. I told them that they could do whatever they need to do to get the truck running. They never called me. I checked in with them every week. About 4 weeks in, they realized it needed a fuse box (which all star had already said from the beginning). I had to then ask them to replace it, after I had already told them to go for it. Three days later, they called me (for the first and only time) and asked me if I still wanted to replace the fuse box. Why would you need confirmation so many times? So much confirmation yet so little communication. So they finally did that. Anyway, two weeks later I called them again and Bobby told me they didn't know what to do with it anymore. Said "we don't work on many diesels." Well my good sir, I would've appreciated knowing that 6 weeks ago. So I asked them if they were done working on it and they said yeah. So later that weekend, I rented a trailer and drove three hours to pick it up. Multiple times, I told them to 1), tell me how much I owe them, and 2), make me a detailed list of what all you checked so I can show a capable shop. Bobby said he could do that. I show up, and he tells me my bill is $1,800. I had no idea. I'm an 18 year old trying to make some money flipping cars. It feels like they took advantage of me. They charged me for 12 hours of labor. I'm nearly positive they didn't do 12 hours on it, because they could not give me an account of anything they found. My "detailed report" I requested was nothing more than a piece of notebook paper that said "12 hours" and "fuse box." Bobby never apologized and never looked me in the eyes. Outrageous. I was so frustrated. My mom convinced me on the long drive back to call one more time. We spoke to John that time. We complained once more that we received no communication the entire time the shop had the truck. John came up with the brilliant line that "your truck wasn't the only one in the shop." Well John, you should've refused my car if you knew it was out of your league. If you don't have enough time to call the owner of the car, then you dang sure didn't spend 12 hours on it. I don't know if anyone has had the experience of towing a car to a shop, paying nearly $2,000 and then towing the car back from the shop, but if you haven't yet, please don't come here. John and Bobby, you still have a chance to make it up. 1 star. I got fleeced.

He showed this to me, and at that point said that there was no need for repair immediately, but to begin saving for about $400 in parts and labor. Sure enough, some 8 months one time I brought it in for an oil change and the crack had grown enough to no longer keep the oil filter contained, so he fixed it when it needed to be fixed. Both times he showed me the issue and explained it to me. He will go out of his way to work with single parents on fixed income etc.
