We turned around to leave and this man walked up and said what do you want! We asked him if they had 17mags because we have tried to get some without results. He told us they did not have them. He asked well where have you tried to get them and we told him Cabela's and Sportsman's Warehouse but nothing. His answer was we'll see, if you can't get them there then! Very rude! He didn't even offer to unlock the door and let us in to see if he could order them. My husband told him it's ok, we won't ever do business with them again, he also told the guy sorry to have bothered you! After what my husband told him, he then said well let's go inside to see if I can get them! We have bought two handguns, holsters and bullets and other stuff from this business in the past but WON'T EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN! In the past when we bought items from them and was helped by another man who was very helpful and nice. This guy was horrible and had no rapport with customers. So much for supporting local businesses! Didn't even want to give one but couldn't submit without this. They don't deserve any!!

Just badmouths everybody and everything. If you can only promote yourself by saying unfounded negative comments about your competition, you're probably not very good at what you do. I mean, I don't really love the other nearby options either, but what a jerk. Avoid, unless this guy grows up and learns how to be a pleasant human. I truly hope that happens, and I hope one day we get fragile male chestpuffing and machismo out of gun culture.

Their firearm selection is a little small at the moment but they carry some quality items at very good prices. They even had a M&P Shield .40S&W under the glass which are hard to find since they're so popular. I did a online purchase with them and it was very easy. They answered questions via phone and email, and even through their facebook page. Try doing that with a lot of the larger firearms dealers and you're lucky to even get a response. If you're around the area stop in and say hi and check out the shop, you might be very pleasantly surprised. The store is located in downtown Castle Rock on the second floor of the Town Plaza. Might be a little hard to find for non-locals but Google maps is your friend. :-)

The manager asked that I pay in full for the special order, which was fine, but earlier a different employee had said it was half down for a special order. I also picked up some ammo and left. The next day, I took the receipt out of my jacket pocket and looked at it closely. I saw a rifle from a company I'd never heard of written down instead of what I asked for. I went back in, asked about the discrepancy, was first told that it was the rifle I'd asked them to order for me, then (when I reminded him of the conversation we'd had two days before), I was told that it was "essentially the same"...an entirely different manufacturer with a different reputation is not "essentially the same." When I asked for a refund, the manager initially told me that there would be a 15% restocking fee...for a gun I hadn't asked for and that hadn't even actually been ordered yet (the fact that they are happy to take my money up front but also happy to delay putting the order through is another matter). Eventually, they refunded my money. I will hesitate to ever give them any more of it in the future though unless I have no other choice. Both the manager and the salesman were rather disagreeable to deal with. (Note: Blaine, who has helped me many times over the years, remains great. If you absolutely *must* to go there, ask for him).

went to them due to the reviews and that they work on old revolvers. brought a 1948 K22 22 lr…read morerevolver that was out of time in 2 chambers and told them about the problem. told them it's a k22, charlie starts rapidly dry firing the gun 3 times before I can say "please stop doing that it's a rimfire". states the gun is in time. i show him the out of time 2 chambers and he says you are pulling the trigger too slow(which i was in order to check timing). he says there's nothing to fix. the problem is now there's peening on the cylinder from the firing pin strike and my firing pin is flattened from being dry fired without snap caps. this gun was in good condition for a 1948 gun and handled roughly with some damage after "inspection".
