Lucky for us we saw the new Carpet Direct & Flooring showroom while driving by and stopped in on whim. They had recently opened in this new spot and the owner was working that day. She was super friendly and happy to help us work through our situation. She showed us what was in stock, worked with us to find a price point we were comfortable with, and was able to schedule a crew just a few days out for no extra charge. The install crew was professional and clean -- they did a great job and we couldn't be happier with the new carpets.

Joe Hill came to my house to put up shelves in my basement created out of 2x3x8 and 1/2x4x8…read moreplywood. Joe worked an entire day with little to no supervision. During this time, he had help from my 15-year daughter to hold and bring him materially; another co-work and I cut his wood for him based on the instruction to put the shelves up as 12 in. width, 8 ft. long, and about 7 ft tall. You cannot make the most straightforward frames, no facing, no trim, no odd corners, etc., garage-like shelving. Joe put up less than 1/2 of the frame only. He had to take the frame down once for it not being level and again for not following the instruction given for the 12 in. wide shelves to be ripped out of the plywood. I have no idea what he did for the duration of time he was here. It took one of the guys helping me outside that day 1.5 hours to finish the entire room the next day w/o Joe Hill handyman services present. I will never use him and can not recommend him to anyone. He is an hourly wage employee that milks the clock and pretends to work when you come downstairs. Joe Hill must be supervised 100% of the time; not worth the 20.00 dollars an hour he was paid. https://m.facebook.com/pages/category/Business-service/Joe-hill-handyman-342190612922737/
