I park at the fuel pump go to walk inside and the door is lock with a sign closed for 20 minutes! 20 minutes ok i can wait I'm only looking for fuel up my 150 gallons of fuel. So I'm standing there with other customers waiting and waiting watching the workers slowly swipe the floor swipe the entire store now there 10 customers waiting watching this getting upset knocking on the glass and the workers will look and continue swiping finish swiping and instead of serving the customers waiting over 45 minutes comes from the back with a mop bucket and starts mopping the store? Where is customer service or customers come first? Not at this gas station!!

Gas was $1.75/gl back then and it didn't matter weather you paid cash or credit. I used to tip this guy in McDonald's French fries and lost in translation jokes. They had that shady porn curtain made of beads to the right of the register and sold all our favorite snacks. Man, we'd go there for every occasion; during bomb threats at the school, cutting class and driving around, I even went there for cheap gas through my college days... hell, I was loyal to that gas station after I dropped out too. When you're that age, a car is freedom, and the open road is all your hopes and dreams before they were smashed by cops and life, and horrible ex girlfriends, and Work, and money, and NewYorkers... I digress. Everything I did back then involved driving forever and ever and when I needed a fill-up, I'd go to Jamaica mart. He'd always tell whatever girl I had in the car she was pretty or he'd tell me... he was a funny little creep indeed. One day the guy asked me "you're here all the time..." I didn't quite understand exactly what he said next, but he gave me $20. Either he thinks I left without my change (possible knowing me) or he just gave me $20... either way what an awesome thing to do. Anyway I stopped going there. Fucking weirdo Lol. Just kidding. Well no, I really did stop going there as much, I got too lazy to drive all the way to Medford as my life shifted away from the LIE and to the south shore routine. Ah the memories though.

Bathroom access required a keypad, which is understandable, however I was escorted to the door, and the code was deliberately concealed rather than shared. Once I got inside, I noticed the door lock had been taped over, preventing it from being locked from the inside which raised my privacy n safety concerns honestly. The bathroom itself was poorly maintained. Toilet paper wasn't properly stocked, floor was sticky, there was an exposed hole in the wall blowing hot air over the toilet, and handwritten graffiti "no smoking crack" had been left directly beneath the "no smoking" sign. I don't usually leave reviews for convenience store-gas stations, but this stood-out due to basic cleanliness and maintenance issues that should be addressed. With better oversight of the bathroom, this 7-Eleven could be much improved.

As a result the 10.282 gallons cost $37 instead of $31.15. A difference of $5.84. If it was only 50 cents I wouldn't bother posting this but almost $6 more for ten gallons?! It's a scam! The clerk behind the counter said "each grade has its own nozzle. I must have used the Plus nozzle. The sign on the pump says "lift handle and select grade." Selecting the desired grade (pushing on the box marked 87 octane) doesn't do anything. There are no markings indicating that each grade has its own nozzle. It turns out that after lifting the handle you're locked into whatever grade Speedway has associated with that nozzle. The entire pump and its markings are set up to make you select a grad of gas that is over $0.50 per gallon more than you need. Why is the regular gas advertised at $3.03 per gallon? So much less expensive that all the other gas stations on Rt. 112? Because they know you're not going to get it! Beware - it's a scam.
