I've often been a customer at Ace Hardware locations all over the place. This is the first Ace…read morelocation I've visited in Lower Alabama and with little surprise it is very much like other Ace locations I've visited. Ace tends to have among the best customer service of any of the hardware type stores I've experienced. The folks working at most Ace locations actually seem cheerful and happy to help you find something or give suggestions on the best items for certain projects. The staff are also good about reminding you about available discounts and other money saving options. The experience at most Ace locations is far better than what you typically get at Lowes, Home Depot or Walmart.

I called the store on Sunday morning and they brought me a new one the same day! When they delivered it, they even made sure it was up and running before they left! Their pressure washer gun was leaking when I rented it but that was my decision. No problem. On the second day of rental, the connector at the end of their hose blew and could not hold pressure and would not connect to a surface cleaner or gun. I called and let them know immediately. The owner called me back and told me that was the oldest trick in the book. I am an honest hard worker and don't appreciate an owner treating a customer this way.

I had looked at home depot and they were all out..well i found it here and it was 30% off everything in the store today..all their tools have their warranties but there is a factory sticker on them indicating something wrong with the packaging like a misspelled word or package had a defect but the product inside is perfect...I love ryobi because the batteries are interchangeable . This store is full of all different brands.. the sales people are helpful and answer all questions u have about their tools.. I didnt get any pictures as I was so excited to find my glue gun..next time I go in I will take them..

We arrived at 5:30 considering they closed at 6. No closed sign was hanging on the door. And yes…read morethey use one as we saw it the previous day after 6pm. An older gentleman walked by the door as if I wasn't standing there. Locked the door and said we're closed. To my surprise I replied but it says online you do not close until 6pm. He said well we start closing at 5:30. I again said but you're open until 6. He said WE ARE CLOSED!! WOW. Terrible customer service!!!!!!!

Then after the build they informed me of a 15 day limit on returns. I guess they think I can I can build and plumb a kitchen in less than 15 days. That's why I will return to the big box stores. They are cheaper and they understand! GCBS does not.
