Pros: None really. See other reviews. The place is a hole and they carry themselves like they don't need your money. Cons: - Have to pay instructors directly by check. - Have multiple students? Now you write multiple checks. - Won't work with you on an every other week schedule. Happy to bill you for time you can't use. - 10 min late to a lesson? Don't expect them to be there for the rest of the time you paid for. - be prepared to keep track of when you paid and when the next bill is due. - Have to cancel a lesson? You're still paying for it. - Same day cancellations are apparently fine on their end though - no biggie. (See pic) read more

I came in with my bandmates to purchase some strings. I made the purchase then used the restroom. While waiting for my friend in the bathroom, me and another friend played some instruments. We tried out a couple different guitars and it took no more than 5 minutes for the lady to basically kick us out. "Okay guys, you done jamming?" She said in the most passive aggressive tone you could imagine. We immediately put down the guitars and left. This buisness has no time for hospitality. I went out of my way to support local businesses instead of going to a big corporate music store. I will not be shopping here again. Learn how to run a welcoming buisness please. read more

My family and I have been going to The Guitar Ranch for a few months(taking lessons there) and we couldnt ask for a better place to learn. The owner and employees are knowledgeable, professional and kind people. They even took my son's older guitar and did a awesome setup job to it. I took it to them for new strings and George worked magic on it making it better than new, thank you George! We will be taking our instruments back to The Guitar Ranch for any needed maintenance in the future. I used to take lessons here from Eddie Molina and he is one of the sweetest and most helpful instructors I've had in music. Really patient and attentive to your interests as a learner. The store is also pretty nice. It's a small shop but they have your classic Fenders, Gibsons, Schecters... orange amps, Blackstar amps. They also do guitar setups and repairs. Very, very bad shop. The owners are extremely unfriendly and standoffish, and seem to just want you out of their shop as soon as you buy something. The prices are about 35% over what anyone else charges, and their selection is minimal. They have zero patience for questions, and they will always try to sell you something you don't want or need even if you come in for a specific item. Avoid this place. read more

I have purchased a few guitars and pedals in the past from Guitar Ranch but today I was highly disappointed. While trying out an amp one of the owners turned down the amp while I was playing and they talked about me behind my back trying to get me out of the store. The workers never have a hospital demeanor about them and the atmosphere is very uncomfortable. Don't waste your time going and instead purchase your equipment online. read more

Owners were rude, and short. Kicked me out while QUIETLY testing amps. Too bad for them, i spend lots of cash. The only decent amp they had was broken, a marshall with a broken reverb circuit, that turns on and off sporadically. Not to mention the ONLY tube amp they probably STILL have. Won't be back. read more
