If you stay ask for a ground floor room as it is below the level of the main road. As a consequence they tend to be a lot less noisy.

The station is my access to the London Underground network, enabling me to be in Central London about 45 minutes after I leave my house. The Northern line used to be called the Misery Line but new trains and better signalling have improved things. We could still do with air conditioning on hot days but that's still a pipe dream. There are good bus links from Morden station to other destinations as well as a taxi rank. The ticket office and machines are usually in good working order. The Northern line is one of those confusing lines which splits in 2 halfway through the route and has 3 final destinations at the northern end, so make sure you get on the right train. Yay for public transport.

The hotel itself has just over 100 rooms on 7 floors. It has a nice reception area, which blends into the bar, lounge and small dining area. All the staff that I came into contact with were very friendly, and helpful. After the 13.8 mile drive from home took me almost 2 hours, I neede a beer when I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised that a pint of Becks was only £3.95, which is really reasonable, especially for a hotel. The room was pleasant enough and clean. I had a king sized bed, which was very comfortable. There was also a 42 inch LED TV. I was pleased that my room was at the rear of the hotel, as they did not appear to have double glazed windows, and the front of the hotel faces the busy A23 (the road to Gatwick & Brighton). I would definately consider staying here again should I need a hotel in the Croydon area.

My only downfalls with my stay at travelodge was there was car parking available but this is share with the Toby jug restaurant and upon arriving I waited 20 minutes for a space to be cleared. However this was on a Friday at 6.30pm which I was later told was the pub/restaurants busy period. The other downfall was the toiletries, there was a soap dispenser and a shampoo/conditioner and body wash dispenser, great to use if you didn't pack anything but not something you would have brought from the supermarket

And we found the Belmont. The decor in the dining room and bar is very dated. It seemed to have an Irish farming theme to it, which was not what I was expecting. But I still found it charming all the same. Our server was very prompt and nice too. I had the chicken and leek pie. My hubby the burger. It was standard pub grub, but it was nice and really hit the spot for both of us. The Pinot Grigio by the glass was very drinkable. And my hubby enjoyed a cold cider. There doesn't appear to be much on offer in the area, but I don't think you could go too far wrong with the Belmont if you need some grub. Grand.

We were hoping to stay in clean, safe environment the night before our flight and first, I just did not feel safe in the area. Second, the staff was nice enough but just not helpful. Third, the rooms were very small and dingy, we saw some mold as well. Not a place even good enough to take a hot shower and sleep. We left, they did not give us any refund and we still chose to stay in a place in the airport for only 20 pounds more we got hot showers in a clean and safe place.

However later on driver talked to me and asked my location and gave me an extreme relief with delivering the phone to me in a restaurant where I was eating in free of charge. I was delighted to find Aaro Cars to be such honest operators and drivers. Since then I am using their Company. The fare for the journey always reasonable as compare to other companies in Weybridge.
