I planned on using my existing lender, one of the major national lenders, but my realtor recommended Bruce Singer based on past experience with other clients. I requested a loan estimate from Bruce, the big national lender, and a large local lender. To my surprise, the big national lender offered the worst loans of the three, and Bruce offered the best loans and the most loan options. One of the other banks warned me that every mortgage lender in the country was very busy with a ton of refinance loans brought on by lower rates. Bruce promised he would get it done on time. Between the great options offered, the trusted referral, and the personal promise from Bruce, we decided to get our mortgage from him. Im very happy we did. The buyer of our house wanted to close a week early, so we scheduled our closing and move date for 11/8/19. Bruce met us at the signing a couple days earlier to make sure everything went smoothly. All the figures in the loan were consistent with what was in the loan estimate. On the move day, we had a moving truck full of stuff and movers standing around for hours waiting for the wire transfer that almost didn't happen because the buyers lender didn't get everything done correctly and on time. Bruce, on the other hand, had everything completed correctly several days early. During the weeks between choosing Bruce and closing on the loan, I had to reach out to him several times. He always answered the phone or called me back within minutes, and he called me several times to let me know how things were going. During a very stressful month with a lot of decisions to be made, I'm very glad we decided to use Bruce. He made that part of the process worry-free, and I've got a great loan moving forward. You may also lose your Ernest money deposit. This happened to me. My situation was financially better then when I got the pre approval, but I received a denial letter 30 days after our original closing date.
