Consumer be aware!…read more I utilized Mann Mortgage for a construction loan on my home. They provided me with a list of approved builders but do not trust that list. Its not a list of reputable builders but just companies they have worked with in the past. In addition, Mann Mortgage dispersed $184,000 of my loan money to the builder without ever checking to confirm progress. My broker was Greg Ando and when I told him how little was accomplished in the span of 11 months, he was surprised and caught off guard. Greg Ando told me that "we just lend money, we are not able to assist with disputes between you and the builder." Also, Mann Mortgage requires a general contractor to complete the work. It took me 30 days to locate a replacement builder because every company was A. too busy or B. did not want to take over some other company's unfinished job. As we were nearing completion of the project, Greg Ando told me that Mann Mortgage was unable to find a buyer for the loan since we had two builders. I explained that we intended to sell the home once it was complete. This conversation happened in August. Five days after the home was finished in October, we received a certified letter from an attorney representing Mann Mortgage. The letter stated we were in breach of the contract because the home was not finished in March, which gave Mann Mortgage the right to foreclose on us or the attorney demanded a swift payment of $394,660. We were never late on a single payment and were not prepared for that type of payment. The attorney involved was an absolute bully and provided little flexibility to work with us on an agreeable solution. We had to pay nearly $5,000 to break our apartment lease, refinance the loan with another company at a 7% interest rate, and move in the dead of winter. Had our conversation with Greg Ando in August indicated this sort of trouble, we could have moved when our lease was up in October and not spent thousands of dollars to break an apartment lease. Mann Mortgage and Greg Ando are incredibly unprofessional, incapable of explaining construction loans in layman's terms, and does not have the consumers best interests at heart. If you are needing a construction loan to build your home, go with a different company. I would never work with Mann Mortgage or Greg Ando ever!

Lanissa was fantastic in my initial meeting with her. We signed a contract and listed my home…read more After that she told me that it was a bad time to list a home because nobody shops for homes until after school starts or during Labor Day. Why wouldn't she have told me that before we listed - I would have postponed two weeks. I got the basic listing on the MLS and no further contact from her. She did respond if I contacted her first, however, never initiated the contact to check in or update me. When I finally decided to take the listing down, I got a very generic response from her letting me know she would send a document to end the contract and asking where to leave the lockbox key. It ended up being a very cold and disappointing experience working with her

It is our pleasure to recommend Travis Manske as a real estate agent for any individual or family…read moresearching for their ideal home in the Billings area. We were first time homebuyers and also looking to relocate to the Billings area from out of town. Travis worked with us to view houses over the weekends when we could come to Billings for a quick trip and with his help we were able to find and put in an offer on the perfect house for us within just a couple weeks after we started looking. We initially got in contact with Travis via a friend who was a realtor in a previous town we had lived in who recommended Travis as a good fit for us. They couldn't have been more right. Travis took notes on what we were looking for and didn't waste our time with homes that were out of our price range or not in line with our needs. He made appointments to view homes when it worked for us, but probably took away from his family time (sorry about that Travis!). We found Travis to be a highly attentive agent, almost as if we were his only customers, although we know that was not the case. He always returned phone calls and emails within the hour. We never felt neglected or unimportant. He is also highly personable with an engaging personality. When we ran into financing difficulties with the lender we started out with initially and were pre-approved with, Travis was able to help us out in a huge way with contacts he had with another lender that was able to work though the issues extremely quickly. If Travis hadn't been our realtor, it is highly likely the deal, not to mention all the time, effort, and planning quite possibly would have fallen through at the last minute. I honestly can't recommend Travis highly enough for helping us out in that situation. Travis is hands down the best in the business in our opinion and if we ever need to move again he will be the one we will turn to. Jacob and Jessica Smith
