I brought my kiddo to Durango to ride on the Polar Express. We stayed for the whole weekend to check out Durango. We spotted this place at the Main Street Mall and my son's nine year old jaw dropped open. He was THRILLED. We went upstairs because he saw a Pokémon poster. They had a few card sets on sale so I bought him one. He got an Infernape V Box for less than $20. He almost bought a different pack but one of the employees took his time and taught him about the difference in the packs. My son was so happy that he got the cards he did. We decided to buy some board games to play at our hotel. We bought Yahtzee and Disney Villianous. We had such a wonderful, memorable time playing games together rather than simply watching TV or playing on our tech devices. I highly recommend you check out this cute game shop. They have a HUGE variety of games and it looks like a library but with games instead of books. Cheers! read more

Visited on our way through Durango looking for some family games for a rainy day, and were very happy to have found Guild House. Owner couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. They had quite a wide variety of games and accessories, including a free play area with what looked to be a pretty extensive selection to choose from. The whole place was clean and well-organized. Guild house has recently opened up, and it is great having a gaming store in Durango again. After checking out the store during their first week the owner is doing a great job setting up, and works very hard to greet everyone that comes in to his shop. He has been busy setting up card game tournaments like Magic the gathering and miniature games. Once the new table covers come in it will be a perfect place for such games. Danny has also put a lot of effort into filling the shelves with a large variety of options for gamers and has even more inventory arriving. All an all it is a nice game shop and I look forward to seeing what Danny makes of it. read more
