So early on in my trip, I knew I wanted to stock up on Caudalie items. I decided to get all I need from an actual Caudalie store rather than a pharmacy because I would get points buying straight from Caudalie and it would be easier for me to get VAT refund by buying everything in one place since the overall prices will even out (some items are cheaper in certain pharmacies than the actual Caudalie stores). When I got to the Saint Germain store, I waited a little while because I was told I had to wait for the technician. I figured it's because the technician spoke the most English. It wasn't a big deal to wait and gave me time to do some last minute price checks. When the technician finally came, I basically told her I have a list of items to get. She was super surprised of how organized I was. I had each of the item's name, the US price, the Euro price, and any special offer combos. She was also surprised at the price difference. For example, a bottle of the make up removal oil was around $22USD, it was just 12 Euros at the store. The technician helped me pick out everything on my list and made some recommendations of what I need for my routine. In all, I left with a little over $240 and she threw in handfuls of samples from shower gels to eye creams. She also helped fill out my VAT refund forms. The only bad thing I would say is that I get different advice as far as what I need from various staff. The inconsistency makes it hard to buy the "right" product because I never really know what the right products are! But other than that, I love the Caudalie products and this shopping experience was top notch awesome!

We lined up about ~10 minutes before the store opened (10am local time) and there was already a short line. Upon opening, each group is paired with a SA. I was paired with Celine B who was literally the most patient, accommodating, and helpful SA that I've had the pleasure of working with. I had a wishlist of what I was interested in and she delivered all of the options! She also assisted my girlfriend and between us, we probably tried on ~30 different things. I didn't feel rushed during our experience at all. Stock was plentiful and there were a lot of classic colors available, as well as a good amount of seasonal and unique colors. The store itself is gorgeous and has tons of mirrors all across the showrooms. Security was also pleasant to us! We were offered water and juice during our experience. There's a good amount of seating areas around the showroom as well. Coco Chanel used to live right above this store! After purchasing, Celine B took several photos of us in front of the OG stairs that led up to the apartment.

Despite the language barrier all the staff was incredibley nice and friendly. Remember, I don't speak any french, so...as an english speaking patron I felt welcome. A nice sales lady, offered to do a spot makeover for me. She matched me perfectly with a great foundation. My skin is hard to match because I am fair and have yellow toned skin. I struggle with matching myself. She matched me perfectly! I went for lipstick and left with much more. I was characterisiticly an american, lol, clearly stating my happiness with everything. The lady at the cashier said that I must be happy with everything, I said yes. I also received some amazing sized samples to take with me.
