I had this company come out for a previous quote on a whole-house renovation to this property. Juan came out but forgot to submit a bid (no problem). I gave them another opportunity to work on installing siding on the house. He came out and told me they would give me a call with the bid. After some days had passed, I had to call them back to ask about the bid. He stated that he would call me back, but never did. I called again, and he requested we meet on a Saturday (required me to drive from out of town) to make sure we go over everything. We scheduled a meeting time, and I drove in the night before to meet him. The meeting time was at 10:00 AM. This time had passed, and after several calls from me, he texted me an hour later saying that he was not going to be able to meet me but would meet the next day. I replied back with a text explaining how I no longer want to use their company due to the lack of professionalism and courtesy shown. I did thank him for showing me this now rather than later. People really need to call out companies like this to help others from making mistakes from so-called "Professionals".

Adam and Nate were exceptional in promptness and expertise. They educated as they built the deck and what to expect. Both would show up early to work and stayed into the evening. YEAH RIGHT. the installers had an older flatbed truck with just a piece of warped wood for a tailgate and they dropped nails from the tear off all over our driveway (and i am certain all up the road as well where ever they went). I told them i was concerned about that as we have ouside dogs that if they get on in their paw, not to cheap of a ver bill. they picked up quite a few but we still found some for weeks after they left. we called them about roofing nails in our gutteres , on our deck, on the sidewalk and in the grass around our house. they came out 3 times and rolled the yard with a magnetic roller and assured us each time they had gotten them all. 5 year later we are still finding roofing nails in the yard and on our back deck. i will never use them again or reccomend them to anyone else.

After retirement, I decided I was no longer comfortable getting on my roof to perform repairs myself. Recently, we developed a significant roof leak near the edge of the shingles by the gutter. The shingles in that area were visibly cupped and appeared to be the source of the problem. As a homeowner, I wanted the issue repaired before it became a much larger and more expensive problem. I contacted several roofing companies, but most seemed interested only in selling me a complete roof replacement rather than addressing the repair itself. Eventually, I came across Langley Roofers and gave them a call. Although no one answered initially, my call was returned promptly, and I was assured that they handled roof repairs as well as full roof replacements. An inspector was scheduled to evaluate the roof. He arrived on time and used a drone to take numerous photographs. However, he did not initially get onto the roof until I questioned whether a hands-on inspection would be performed. He eventually climbed onto the roof but stated that he could not inspect the entire roof because his insurance would not allow him to get close to the roof's edge. During the visit, he also discussed a yearly maintenance plan that would include annual inspections and any necessary repairs. After the inspection, I was provided a quote of $600, and I paid the requested deposit. On the scheduled repair date, two employees arrived and replaced the rubber vent boots and repaired approximately a dozen and a half roofing nails that had begun backing out. I specifically asked them to inspect the area where the shingles were cupped, as that was the location of the leak. They walked over, looked at the area, stepped on the shingles to flatten them, and advised me that the leak was probably coming from one of the nail holes they had repaired. They also cleaned the gutters before leaving. After the crew left, I discovered they had accidentally left their leaf blower on my roof. They had only been gone about 15 minutes when I noticed it. I immediately called the same number they had used earlier that morning to notify me they were on their way. I was told they were running behind schedule for an appointment in Red Bank and then had another job on Signal Mountain. I was assured they would return later that afternoon to retrieve the equipment. However, they did not come back that day. Instead, they returned sometime the following day to remove the leaf blower from my roof. Another thing that stood out to me was how eager they were for me to leave a positive Google review before I had any way of knowing whether the leak had actually been fixed. I declined to do so until I could verify the results for myself. Unfortunately, after the next rainfall, the leak remained exactly as before. I called the office three times over a two-day period and received no response to my messages. I finally sent an email, and about two days later I received a reply stating that someone would contact me to schedule another inspection to determine what repairs were needed. At that point, I felt as though I was right back where I started. The original problem that prompted me to call them had not been resolved, despite the work that had been performed and the money I had spent. Looking back, I wish I had paid more attention to the company's negative reviews rather than focusing on the positive ones. A home is one of the largest investments most people will ever make, and dependable repairs are essential. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this company and would encourage potential customers to proceed with caution. I have since hired another roofing contractor who responded immediately, provided references, and addressed my concerns professionally. They pointed out that the problem was that my existing gutters in the back were not wide enough to handle the runoff when we get a decent rainfall. My experience with leaf filters is that the gutters need to be twice as wide as open gutters to handle the the same amount of water flow. And I have a question for you; Have you ever tried to clean out gutters that have leaf filters? Leaves are not the only things that get in there! Much easier to clean out the gutters after the first rain of the season when they are wide enough and open for cleaning. When my Brother's Gutters installers took down the narrow gutters in back, they replaced some fungus damaged trim with pre-treated fascia before installing the new, wider channels. They cleaned out the rest of my gutters and downspouts, tested everything to make sure they were properly tilted, cleaned everything up, and then sent me pictures of the completed work. After they finished the gutters, they installed a diverter on the roof-line of the front porch to protect the entry during rainfall. Excellent inspection, great advice, quality materials, good craftsmanship and affordable price. They did ALL of this while I was out of state on a business trip.

He had ideas on how to replace 2x4s with 4x4s etc. I referenced the bolts noted as being needed in the home inspection as I had just recently moved into the home. Brad asked me if I'm a single mother...because he tries to help them out a bit more than regular customers. Whatever. Finally the day comes. Brad is on time. Gets started. At no time other than to tell me he had to run to get parts at HD did he say things would be different than we discussed. At the end, I didn't have a reframed door...but one with decorative trim...on cinderblock no less. The staircase did not have the noted 4x4s where discussed and he ended up replacing a 2x4 with another 2x4...I get no improvement but tons of excuses. So more than 640 bucks later it's...well we would have to do a full replacement of the staircase to get those results. Like huh? You kidding me? They are REALLY handy at taking your money. And Brenda attempted to work through the issue...but wanted to send someone else out to charge more money and credit what Brad did. So when I ask to credit me for labor spent on the staircase only she stopped responding. Again...all about the money. Don't use these fools.
