They reveal this quality in the vast amount of information they share about their products in the form of small seminars, free samples, and just the eagerness the staff to help you out. They have a huge array of products, so the help is essential and appreciated. This character was repeated when I went to the store last Sunday, the day before labor day. The co-owner, Paula, informed me that the supplement I was looking for was not in the store, so she reached out to their sister store in Solvang. She told her partner/spouse to set aside the product and bring it over for the customer, me, to pick it up on Tuesday, the day after Labor Day. Tuesday arrived and, because I knew the staff to be so reliable, it didn't take much thought for me to go there after a busy day at work; even though I had to be at another meeting within just a few minutes. I was greeted by a staff worker, Zack, who could not find the product among the other products sitting on their set-aside shelf. In fact, he could not find information in their system regarding my name, number, or any other info about my request. He called the sister store and even texted Paula. I ended up waiting for much longer than I planned, because Zack seemed so intent on finding the product for me. He was even saying to the sister store staff member that he felt sorry for me (Dude, it was only a supplement and not life-or-death medication). Anyways, I was getting frustrated, but still provided my name and phone number again, as he requested. He assured me that the product would be sent to the store by tomorrow and I would get a call. I left the store a little irritated and frustrated at the wait, but still had some confidence in the character I was used to experiencing from this establishment (Paula never responded to the text). I did make it to my meeting a few minutes late. To add insult to injury, I never received the call for the promised product. It left me wondering if the treatment was intentional, especially regarding the excessive patronage I was feeling from Zack. Regardless, it made me wonder if I was even welcome to visit their establishment again. It leaves me with a sense of apprehension to step back inside what I thought was a friendly atmosphere.
