Unlike them Dr. McManus staff is great and the billing department lets you know before you leave if you have a balance unlike the place I'm going to right now that says "well payments with tricare fluctuate so that's why I don't know how much you owe" Well not with Dr. McManus... For reference I am young and only recently acquired insurance through a work promotion, however I'm still on my previous group plan via my parents. I was not aware that this could cause trouble with this scheduled appointment and no one explained this to me as I was making the appointment. An honest mistake on both my part and the office. However rather than explaining this to me calmly one of the front desk ladies was very rude and even accused me of trying to commit insurance fraud..... The other lady was very nice though. this is very sad as the doctors were recommended to me by family members who are patients there. I even offered to pay out of pocket since I had already driven over there for my appointment but sadly they don't accept out of pocket.

Even though I was a new patient the staff was very accommodating. Once I was in the room, he reviewed my scans from my previous doctors and explained to me what he was seeing in the scans. He checked me over and agreed I would be a great candidate for surgery and explained the process and recovery. He assured me I would not leak brain fluid like a previous doctor had mentioned and did not send me off with a 30 day supply of prednisone and antibiotics like my previous doctor had also done. Although I have not had my surgery yet I am very confident in my choice for choosing Dr Browne to give me some much needed relief! Thank yo Update: I had my surgery with Dr Browne in office rather than at a surgery center. It went very well, I had absolutely no pain! Nose bled for a bit the first two days but nothing that kept me from normal things. Toughest part was sleeping up right only because I'm a tummy sleeper. I tend to be long winded at times and I wasn't rushed or cutoff, they listened and heard me while I spoke, which I appreciated. This visit was for my seven year old, so they ensured that all they found, I could see for myself and understood what it all meant. Answered our questions on-site and then gave us time to process the information. . Is that not what we all want in a provider! Again, only our first visit but it was amazing. So now, we have a procedure coming and we'll see how that goes, however, I'm not concerned. Dr. Tahari and hos team seem to have it together. Of note, be prepared to pay for your portion of the visit BEFORE you leave the office. I'm not a huge fan of this practice. I'm of the belief, if you have insurance, the billing should first be sent through the insurance and then send a bill to me for my portion once the insurance advises what my portion is. I've been treated by my PC for three middle-ear infections since then (a 6 month period). When I've gone to ent center of nb, I've had to sign into a tablet device like I'm at a job. The staff there needs to go to hospitality school because they treat people as if we were cattle. I'll be going to a different ENT from now on.
