Went to here a few times in the past when I still lived in San Ramon, California. As well as better quality since it's like a private owned business and not a public one. The service overall was good at this place as the employees were helpful with guiding us to find stuff we were looking for. As well as helping my brother find a new bike for him to ride after his old one fell apart. When it comes to value that is where the problems set in as to why I am giving this place a 4/5. Lot of the stuff in this store is expensive and I do mean EXPENSIVE. It could be close to like 120 dollars for a pair of shoes which seems to be way more than most other retailers. And most of the other equipment could range up to 200-300 dollars as well which can make it frustrating to figure out what to spend your money on depending on the need. At least the store has plenty of equipment to choose from, as well as a range for you test stuff out and other useful features for equipment you want to rent. But I would only go here as a last resort if you can't go to a Dick's or find good pricing.

My wife had been asking me for a Fri fit visor as we couldn't find her other one. I must say I was given exceptional customer service from Hali. When I asked her where something was, she pointed me in that direction, but when I showed her the item on the web, she looked it up and noticed it was in the back, then went and grabbed it for me. I eventually had to ask an employee directly to scan it again and bring the shoes out. Honestly, if the kiosk system does not work properly, I do not understand why it is there in the first place. It only made the experience more frustrating and time-consuming for customers. Please either improve the system or remove it altogether.

I also wanted to look at some full-zip sweatshirts, unfortunately they were low on small sizes. Chris asked if I needed help and he mentioned a shipment would be coming in later this week. I also asked him about basketballs since I know nothing. He explained the various types and brands. With his help, I purchased my very first basketball, the Spalding TF. I liked the tacky feel of the surface. At the counter, Jenny helped me. She's helped me before and she made things very simple. She made the price adjustment and applied it to the basketball. Quick and easy. I've shopped at this store for many years. The employees are always friendly, the sales associates always greet me when I enter the store, and they always ask if I need help with anything. The staff is always friendly and even if you get lost by accident or on purpose through the aisles the employees are always willing to help you!
