After our first move with Sander's we expected great service again. Wrong! The estimate was low…read moreand reasonable. The ACTUAL bill came in Euro 400 higher. We believe it was due to the movers using an "elevator" instead of manually hauling the boxes down the two flights of stairs (when we moved in, they didn't use an elevator and moved everything UP the two flights of stairs in much less time). At the destination house, the movers destroyed five wooden steps inside the house, damaged two pieces of glass (one shelf and one desk tabletop), scratched a wooden table, and caused more scratches and breaks elsewhere. We were absolutely unhappy with their work this time.
Of all the Sander's people we dealt with, only Mrs Simon (claims) was helpful. The rest of their staff didn't seem to care about the billing/time increase or the damage their movers caused.
We'd never use them again.
