We purchased a 2019 Avenger 32Den Travel Trailer in October of 2018, along with a $2700 Service…read moreContract and Gap Insurance for $899. The grand total was a tad over $27,000 (after they included the finance charges, we will be paying almost double that). Our camper is stationary and held at a permanent site. Fast forward to the beginning of July 2024, when I saw that the cushions of the pullout bed located in one of the slide outs were wet after being on the floor. I looked in the corner of the slide out from inside the camper and saw a sliver of outside light coming through and the carpet was soaked. We called to have Greeneway come look at it, 1.5 months later after no return phone calls and no one coming to look at the camper, a trip was made to Greeneway to find out what was going on and to follow up and talk to someone in person, they finally sent 2 people to come look at it on August 22nd. They were looking at the roof and the bottom of the slide out where the floor was detaching from the frame of the slide out. We received a estimate of repair on 9/17, close to a month later for over $15,000, and this is to repair a 6 year old camper. We were then notified that the service contract/extended warranty we purchased only covers mechanical (a copy of the extended service contract was a trifold pamphlet that gave no indication of what was/was not covered) and that the roof of the camper nor the floor of the slide out was covered. We were also informed at that time that we were supposed to have the camper inspected once a year. I read through the retail installment contract and security agreement and nowhere in the contract does it state that information. I was then informed by the owner Matt that the 1 year inspection is stated in the owner's manual of the camper. We were never made aware of this 1-year inspection verbally at the time of purchase and someone reading through the owner's manual is about as likely as someone reading all the terms and conditions of a website before they agree to enter it. The cost of the repair in the amount of $15,000 was then questioned, we were told that the floor of the one slide out has to be replaced and the roof of BOTH slide outs needed to be repaired. We wanted to know why it is so costly when the camper would not even receive $15,000 for a trade in-value and considering that the flooring of the camper is basically particle board and relatively inexpensive, along with the spot repairs on the roof, Matt stated that the materials are inexpensive, but it is the cost of labor. Suffice to say, I am horribly disappointed in the lack of communication, the terms of the extended warranty that they offer that is essentially worthless, the quality of the campers, and the cost of repairs/labor costs to a camper that is 6 years old and used perhaps 3 to 5 times a year. What's more disappointing is that we trusted them to stand by their product and we were blown off, not communicated with, told we would receive call backs that never came, and now have to pay $15,000 to repair problems on a 6-year-old camper, that campers in our campground that are 15 years older than ours do not have. If I knew then what I know now, we would have went with the other camper dealer in town.

I told them at the time the repairs had to be done by mid September as we were leaving the area. this was early July. I got the estimate in early August I believe but got one excuse after another why nothing was being done to move this matter along. Long story short, we left in early October without the work being done, Now they are billing me around $238 for the estimate, something I do not believe I was told about or agreed to at the time. They have since turned it over to a collection company. I would not go back.
