We needed to waste a bit of time before meeting up for our Rabbie's day tour, and we wanted somewhere warm and comfortable to sit for a bit. They have a couch and a couple comfy chairs, as well as a couple of tables for one to lounge at. We settled in on the couch to enjoy our coffee. On our first visit, I got a cortado, knowing that the caffeine would help, and the small serving size wouldn't wreak havoc with my bladder (Rabbie's vans don't have bathrooms on board!) My husband ordered a latte, of course. Both drinks were expertly made and full of flavor. We were offered a bit of butter tablet, but we both declined this round. We got our drinks to go on our second visit (our last day in town). I went with a regular hot chocolate, and my husband got another latte. This time I did take the offered butter tablet, and I'm so glad I did. It somehow cut the sweetness of the cocoa...or maybe the cocoa cut the sweetness of the tablet. I don't know what it was, but they worked surprisingly well together! We'd definitely make it a point to stop in for warm caffeinated drinks if we're lucky enough to visit Inverness in the future.
