They backed up the vehicle and started packing up some piles of wood along side some other customers. Some unfriendly looking man stomped over and started verbally berating them. My family offered to pay him $10 more for the wood hoping to settle him down and make up for whatever misunderstanding he might have had about the situation. It did nothing to calm him down, he instead turned around and accused them of stealing his property. My family didn't know how to respond as they have never been treated this way before. The quietly continued to pack the van as fast as they could so they could get out of there.... My mother went up to pay, including the extra $10 that we offered before, and while she was up there she tried to talk to him saying she didn't understand where all this aggression was coming from but she was sorry. With the delicate grace of an irate gorilla he told her to go f*ck herself. I don't know what this man is going through in his personal life but he shouldn't be using them as his therapeutic punching bag (verbally speaking) I'll be advising everyone not to go here for their camping needs... We ended up buying more great stuff from the cottage décor section. We even found sparta candles a pleasant surprise. There is so much great stuff here. They were so great to open the store up for us during their off season.
