It's located in a red building, a few kilometers from the center of Bisenti and well worth the drive. There is a wonderful lady who doesn't speak English but happily seats you and helps you get the best food in town. Their menu changes daily based on what's available. The first day we came we had a choice of gnocchi in red or white sauce or fettuccine (for pasta only, which we wanted). We ordered the gnocchi and were so happy we did. The dish is served with fresh grated parmesan and spicy small chiles in olive oil. We also asked for bread and vino rosso (house red wine). The wine was smooth and light and perfect with the gnocchi, which felt like little clouds of heavenly pasta in our mouths. We returned the next day and were offered chitarra--the speciality of Abruzzo which was pasta originally cut with guitar strings and served in a tomato sauce with ground meat. It was also divine. Tomorrow we are going back again. We asked what will be on the menu and the lady told us it is ravioli pomodoro, fettuccini bianco and fungi with truffles. We will have one of everything, because the food is spectacular.
