A good time to see some old friends, meet a few new friends and kick up your heels a bit.

    Is it 21 and up?

Hi Samantha, thanks for your question. The age limits depend on the venue, which changes monthly. Most venues are 21+, but some are 18+. I suggest following us on social media and/or our website. We always specify age limits for that month.… Read more

Jamie W and I were…read moredoing a rather cursory search when we came upon the enthusiastic reviews for this corner spot on the northeastern edge of the French Quarter. It definitely felt off the beaten track because it required a ride on the red Riverfront Streetcar Line. When we entered the premises, we immediately thought it was a sports bar given all the TV screens that were on, each featuring a different game. Sitting at the bar, there was more of a frisky friendliness from the bearish bartender. His gregarious personality made us feel right at home and not like some dyed-in-the-wool tourists. The subtle decorative elements exposed the true orientation of the bar. There was also a baby boomer vibe because where else would you see a vintage movie poster of "Man's Favorite Sport?" starring Rock Hudson and Paula Prentiss (Photo 3). The price was right: $5 Tequila Sunrises (Photo 10). They were potent, too. Keep 'em comin'. DRINKS - 5 stars...the price and potency were just right AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...divey and a tad crowded SERVICE - 4 stars...nice bartender TOTAL - 4 stars...another round might've pushed this rating to 5 stars RELATED - Exploring New Orleans? The music was great for this 90s/00s loving girl, the bartender was so nice and helpful, and the drinks were cheap and plentiful. Like many other bars and shops in New Orleans, they are cash only, but they have an ATM right in the bar, so don't worry too much about that. It's definitely a little bit divey, in the size and age of the place, but that doesn't hurt the atmosphere at all. Everyone is there to have a great time, and we definitely did when we visited!

The bartenders were young, and the only business we saw consisted of drunk women who looked like they made a wrong turn off Bourbon Street. 8PM may have been too early to expect a congregation of social sisters.. No Espresso Martinis to be found here, so we went with our standby, the $12 Tequila Sunrises (Photo 5). They were satisfying enough. Not much interaction with the bartenders who preferred socializing with each other. Ah, youth. We'll give it another try the next time we're in Nawlins, but The Golden Lantern was a friendlier spot. Whenever I pass by there are always locals sitting at a table outside chatting it up - even early in the morning. I was in town for Southern Decadence and decided to finally check it out. I was surprised by how spacious it is inside. There is even an upstairs area with a bar (Queens Head Pub) and balcony views. Downstairs there is a pool table, gambling machines, and plenty of room to dance. The bartender was very friendly. I asked if they had a signature drink and he told me that The Separator has been a favorite for over 20 years. I decided to try it. It was a boozy milkshake that made me feel like a kid again. I can see why they call it The Separator because if you drink enough of it, you'll get separated from your friends. LOL! I came back later that evening and the place was buzzin' with a fun & lively crew. I enjoyed the music and was happy I stopped by.

Adult review…read more.... I've been an active swinger since I turned eighteen. My eighteenth birthday party started at an all nude strip club, I even danced that night and got a job there, then to swingers club. That night was epic and forever burned into my brain as a great birthday. I attended this club with a couple I met in New Orleans on Swingers Date Club. (SDC). It's a private club and there is always some paperwork and fees involved. My dates handled most of this. I really enjoyed the layout and the atmosphere was highly sexual and festive. Everyone was having a great time. It was byob so if you go, take your own alcohol. Mixers like soda etc were provided. We spent the evening getting to know one another in-between playtime. Playtime I really enjoyed. As did my beautiful wife. I wish I could go into more detail but Yelp is a PG rated forum. Needless to say, I had my fair share of men and women that night. I highly recommend this lifestyle club. I walked there from my hotel in ten minutes. It was much harder to walk home. Lololol
