Belli Fiori was recommended by my wedding venue. I originally had looked at a big box store because…read moreI heard their prices were good, and they were. But when I went to Belli Fiori, I found great prices (better than the big box stores) and awesome service. I had two meetings with Lisa prior to my wedding, and I loved her ideas. She is young and has modern ideas about floral arranging, and even though I didn't have a number to give her for my budget, she worked with me and I was really pleased with the number that the flowers ended up being. The flowers ended up being gorgeous and exactly what I wanted! They kept really well and I loved the touches that Lisa added to them - ivory ribbon and sparkly buttons on mine and brown and gold ribbon on my bridesmaids. The centerpieces also were nice - wreaths that she added some flowers to make it have some color but it wasn't expensive. She has an archway for rental, which was only $50 to rent (way less than the other ones I'd looked at). She decorated it with some willow branches and it was a very nice effect! Communication and reminders were great. I didn't have to worry about anything with her involved. She delivered everything to my venue, which is an hour and a half away from her shop, brought each group of people their flowers, gave us instructions, and set up the archway plus the centerpieces. It was so nice to not have to worry about it! I'd highly recommend this shop to any bride!

They offer repotting w a local soil mix, even if you bring your own pots. They also have a house candle line that smells amazing. The whole place smells good and fresh. You can also get them refilled which goes in line with their sustainability goals. Always greeted nicely and it feels cozy and comfortable being there. It's so nice to have a plant dealer. Back to the plants: they have common houseplants and cool finds too. I got an anthurium there that I haven't seen at any STL store. Their philodendron game is unmatched and the my almost always have a thriving brasil variety which make a great gift. I have a few of those and they are the healthiest I've seen in a long time. There's intention behind every variety they offer is there.

We decided to start naturalizing our back yard. We want to make an inviting space for pollinators,…read moreprimarily, but we also want a space that is allowed to do its own thing. We stopped raking 2 years ago, and that made a huge difference: we have oodles of fireflies and butterflies, way more than our neighbors who do the whole well-manicured lawn thing. Anyway, we talked to a person at the prairie booth at the Earth Day festival about native plants, and the website pointed us to Sugar Creek! We were very pleasantly surprised at the amount of options here. We were able to find all sorts of native plants to introduce into our yard. We really found it easy to navigate since they were sectioned into native and sun needs. It made it very easy once we figured it out. We were only able to afford about 6 plants the first time we came here and 4 the next time. They are a bit pricey, just fair warning. However, the selection is great and it's supporting a business that isn't a huge corporation, so it's worth a visit!
