Jennifer did an "introduction," meeting in which she came over and hung out so we could talk her, and she could meet the babies. She is truly experienced with "meeting" cats and dogs and allowed them to come to her, which made everyone comfortable. After meeting Jennifer, we felt our babies were in good hands. Jennifer is trustworthy, on time, cleans up after the pets, gives them lots of love and is respectful of our home preferences (not wearing shoes in the house.) She frequently communicated by sending pixs of the babies, easing our anxiety of leaving our babies with a new pet sitter. She was super accommodating to one of our kitties who hid under the bed, and served her meals there. She is especially fantastic with our dogs. She reinforces walking "manners," and rewards them with frequent treats for good behavior. We use her weekly now for dog walks. Our pets are like our "kids," to be able to have Jennifer in our lives to help us care for them when we go away or just to walk them while we are at work is truly a blessing! We love her and highly recommend her, as she will care for your pets as they were her own!

This was in no way something I wanted to deal with without a professional with demonstrated experience, particularly to a country with stringent and unclear requirements. Prior to speaking with Vanessa, I spoke to about 5 agents in this space who candidly did not seem like they knew what they were talking about (one even suggested he only set up the vet appointment and I mail in the paperwork, which he was happy to charge me $XXX for- sir, what am I contacting you for then?). Vanessa not only responded immediately with comprehensive information about the process (more than the USDA website and even the Vietnamese customs page- I looked) and what she could do for me. She moved mountains to make this happen, met with me at the vet process, and clearly cares deeply about the animals she is helping to move. I have to again underscore how different my experience with Vanessa was from other providers where it really felt like you're paying someone to move around paperwork and they actually expressly disclaim that after all that your dog may not even meet the requirements to get on the plane. Vanessa gave me the comfort to know things will be fine because she does this all the time, as opposed to other operators who kind of seem like they're just winging it. We needed twice daily visits for our two young (1 and 2 years old) indoor only cats. Pawlette did a nice job of explaining how they run their business while Becky got acquainted with the cats. The first day we were gone Becky sent a photo of the cats so we could see they were doing well and that she had visited. Being the first time we had used Paws on the Run, this was very reassuring. We had an additional complication in that we were having a remodeling contractor come in on the third day and the cats needed to be confined to their room in the morning and released the afternoon. We were completely happy with the job Becky did of caring for the cats and making sure they didn't get involved in with the contractor. We appreciated getting photos of the cats from two of the five visits. Becky also left notes from each visit for us to read when we got home.
