We had our son at this daycare for almost three years. We could not have been happier with how…read morethis daycare was run! The cost is very fair, and the location is very convenient (for us). The facility is very neat, clean and well stocked with a great variety of toys and activities! There is also a large grass park adjacent to the facility, which they often use. The odd time that our son would get hurt or have a problem with another child, we were immediately informed of the details and what was done to solve the problem. I was always impressed with the way they handled any and all situations that arose. Regardless of anything, he would come home happy every day! After reading the poor review left here by someone else, it seems like their child has personal problems that aren't the daycare's fault. I wouldn't pay much attention to that review since my wife and I have never known anyone to have a negative thing to say about Ladybug daycare. My wife and I are very much looking forward to enrolling our youngest son when he becomes old enough to attend!

My son has spent a little over a year at LadyBug daycare, which out of all the daycares that we…read morehave explored, proves to be the best. 1. The staff is very kind and gentle with the children, always playing with them and keeping a close eye. As you know, children can be reckless and on multiple occasions my son has been pushed or kicked by another toddler, the teacher automatically notified me of this, ensuring me that the other parent was notified as well. This is just one of the ways the staff at this daycare differ greatly from other ones. 2. The food is catered and organic, all a parent can ask for for their children is for them to eat well and healthy. They offer a menu in which I can keep track of everything that my son is eating and it is very beneficial for me to work around. 3. The children spend a lot of time outdoors, they exercise and play. They are not confined within the walls of the daycare but rather gets fresh air throughout the day. My son is very energetic, so being able to go outside is a perfect way for him to play to the fullest of his extent and explore the world around him. 4. Finally, the environment that he is surrounded by is full of learning, music, care and fun, all of which are needed in the development of children. When my child comes home singing new songs and telling me about his day, I know for sure that I have chosen the right day care from him and plan to enroll my second son there as well, it is much recommended. -Branislav V.

We've been happy clients of the Bloor-Islington Centre location of Kids & Company for the last 18…read moremonths as our daughter moved from infant room to toddler room and has flourished during her time here. For working parents this location is exceptionally accommodating with free validated reserved parking for pick up and drop offs near an elevator below ground. It's also right off of the Bloor Lines Islington stop and is fully connected underground for those winter months. This is the Cadillac of daycares. The meals are always fresh made and delivered daily by a catering company and I can safely say that our daughter eats better than we do daily. The diverse food options has even opened her palate and we find her eating everything we make at home with vigour. The class rooms and playgrounds are top notch, fully equipped and filled with toys and books and teeny tiny furniture. Also, as a parent you are given private access to the in centre cameras so you can check on your little if you're missing him/her/them. I cannot say enough about the teachers here especially my daughters main caregivers: Lule, Florence and Rana. She loves them so very much and talks about them whenever she isn't there. The love each of these ladies have for children is so apparent, I honestly have felt at ease like I'm leaving them with family not strangers. If you're looking for either Part time or Full time child care, they are one of the few that offer both for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. The only thing that might make you flinch is that you will definitely be shelling out dolla bills to send your kid to one of these centres so be prepared convenience and top service comes at a price.

It was nice to be able to start with part-time, and transition to full-time (both for my son & for me as a bit of an anxious mama). I appreciate everyone's experience is different but here are some reasons why I like this daycare: - no late-fees for pickup past 6pm - no extra fees for before & after care (can drop off at 7am, pick-up at 6pm if needed) - they signed onto Federal $10/day daycare, and fees have already dropped significantly - accommodating for kids with disabilities - all the ECE's and ECA's that have taught my child both in the infant & toddler room have been very caring & compassionate - they track each child's progress on developmental milestones on the app. - meals & snacks designed by Dietician - well-rounded programing for numeracy, literacy, arts, dramatic play, gross & fine motor - outdoor playgrounds - cameras so you can check-in on our little one throughout the day - daily activity list of: food & water intake, diapers changed etc - responsive Director & Assistant Director; usually within a few hours of sending an email I get a response Anyways, I could go on but I'll leave it there.

When my son was 5 weeks old I signed him up for K&C at the Advance Road location and gave $1000 deposit. The director told me I had a spot and she would contact me for the transition. One week before I went back to work I emailed asking about the transition. No answer. I called K&C no answer. Two days before I went back to work the head office called me to say there was a clerical error and my son no longer had a spot at that location. Long story short I found a location downtown near my husband's work that would take him. The location I found was the Wellington location. The head office told me that my son would be the first on the list to get into the Advance Road location. I called regularly, sent emails - they still said there was no room. Six months later my son was in the toddler program still at the Wellington location. I was on every daycare list in the Etobicoke area trying to get my son out of K&C and it wasn't until this month that I did. Overall he was at the Wellington location for 10 months. Now to talk about the actual care of the kids. The infant room was fine. The program looked boring and my son was just running around the room the whole day. It did not look organized at all. The toddler room was complete chaos. I was never told a transition was happening to the toddler room and the women caring for my son never introduced themselves to me. There were so many different people looking after my son because the women working there keep leaving the company. My son also got the worst diaper rash I have ever seen (I know this happens but this was extreme). Every day I would pick up my son and he would come running to me crying. This obviously broke my heart. Overall Kids and Company is terrible chain daycare please save your child and do not send them to Kids and Company. My son is now at a wonderful daycare where he doesn't want to leave. My son is so much happier now and it breaks my heart that he was at K&C for so long.
