While at another local hydroponics storee, I received mostly targeted toward what the employees thought I should want, that would actually be detrimental to the plants I am planting along with costing far more than the appropriate products. At Horizen Hydroponics, however, they actually pay attention to what their customers needs are and instead of trying to sell you the most expensive version, they make an effort to sell you the RIGHT versions for your specific needs. They understand that excellent cusstomer service and selling the right products for what's needed and giving genuine advice is the way to build long lasting customers. Love this store!

Horizen has nice prices, nice selection, and a nicer ambience than other hydro shops I've been to in Grand Rapids. The staff is professional yet laid back, and it's 2019 in a hydro shop in michigan, figure it out bud.

Walking in, there's tons of flowers, plants and trees to choose from. Organized by color, along with annuals or perennials, this place literally has it all. My favorite part? the Volkswagen Bug in the middle of the store stuffed with flowers. I loved it! Prices here are a bit steep, but all their plants seem to be extremely healthy and they even have Proven Winners brand, which is excellent. Pots are stocked here, some designer, some standard terra cotta. Staff's knowledgeable and friendly as well. Bathrooms are at the front of the store and in great clean shape.

This is a one stop shop for selecting something special for any mom, daughter, friend, sister, wife, girlfriend in your life. They've got jewelry, clothing, kitchenware, home decor and more. I walked out with a simple bouquet of tulips and my friend was delighted! The service was stellar and the owner even gave me a tour around the shop. She was extremely passionate about her shop and you could tell that she puts a lot of thought into the items that are selected.
