There are 15+ plus fields here and they are separated by age. Basically big kids fields and little kids fields. The field is right next to an airport which is pretty cool, to see all sorts of planes landing and taking off. The refreshment stand offers water, Gatorade, soda, plenty of snacks, and some actual food items. Mostly just burgers, hot dogs, and a few breakfast items. The parking can be brutal, they now have officers on duty to help with the madness that is Saturday game day. This is a great field for kids to start their new soccer obsession!

The turf is good, however, my one gripe is that they don't have the high-rise glass siding, so if the ball hits the side nets, the ball is out boo! I will say however, that the people who run it are always super friendly, and that its incredibly efficiently run. Everything is always on time, and problems that we have had have been solved quickly. I hear that there is another indoor arena that is better (I think its called Crocket) but this the only I one that I know, so I felt the need to review it! On a side note, the bathrooms are always clean, and it's adjacent to outdoor fields (however I hear those can only be reserved by club soccer teams). More importantly the indoor soccer leagues are quite good, not the most amazing competition, but if you are someone who played soccer for a while and wants to get back into it, I can promise good quality competition.

This is a brand new MLS team which has just started play, located in Tennessee. Nashville has been trying hard to get a soccer team for a long time, and they finally have one. I hope that they're really successful and I congratulate them for that. We haven't really seen them on the field of play yet, but they already had a lot of drama because they were talking about moving them to another place because Nashville was unwilling to helping build a stadium. It's a long and complicated process. But it looks like Nashville will still be a Tennessee club from now on.

I started looking for someone for trading with her footwork and found 615 on the web. She reluctantly agree to take the trip from Cookeville to Mt Juliet to check it out. She was afraid it would be all boy athletes and embarrassing. That first night she started agility/speed then did weights and she loved it. The place is also used as a sports training facility (as the name suggests) and they have baseball and soccer camps. Because of this, it can get pretty busy when you're working out as there are a lot of little kids running around and they can get in the way. The place is just getting started and they are wanting to move to a larger facility once they get enough sustained revenue income. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and if you're into cross-fit and power/olympic style lifts, this place is for you.

The newly constructed jungle gym is excellent and has brought many more families to the area, plus the new water park has turned out to be a smart addition. There's a number of classes offered inside of the park's main building and I often see family reunions and parties being held on the grounds at one of the several pavilions. Tennis lessons, karate lessons and personal training is all offered there, either by private parties or park sponsored I'm not sure. I often see yoga being taught/instructed early in the mornings when the weather is good. I often use the track around the park, and the new addition going in front of the police station is welcomed as the loop is now a mile long. Overall great small town park offering lots of options for individuals and families.

Any who, they offer a wide variety of footwear for both indoor and outdoor soccer along with a great range of quality equipment. I think what I like the best about Soccer USA is that they have option for all ages and price ranges; if you are looking to outfit your kids and don't want to spend a lot they have some cheaper stuff available, and for those that are serious about soccer and want higher end equipment they can also outfit you. I went there to buy coaching stuff with a friend, and they had a great variety of cones, ball bags, and anything else you would need for practice. 3.5 Another park…read moreoutside of the city proper. Another soccer field labeled as a park. The nice thing about Heartland Park is that it sits as the edge of the Greenway and the river. So, if you come here in search of a green space and left the soccer cleats at home, you can still have a nice time -- you just won't, technically, be in Heartland Park doing so. Let's concentrate on the field first. As metro-owned soccer fields go, I think this is the nicest one I've encountered so far. There's plenty of space to play games. The earth is flat (it sounds like a small thing but...). And the environment is pretty stellar. For as large as the field is, I didn't notice that many benches and the concession stand was a bit small. But if you're coming to a location to play some futbol, you could pick a worse field. Plus, just look around; it's gorgeous. So, if you're not a soccer player and you stumbled on Heartland Park because you live in Donelson and wanted to enjoy some green space... what then? Well, you've got some choices. They're just not a part of Heartland Park proper. The field abuts the Stones River, so if you have a boat you're in luck. If you don't have a boat but still want to take advantage of the water (sorta) and the countryside (definitely), walk past the field into the greenway. You'll cross a bridge and enter into a lush garden of flowers, trees, quiet hums, and pretty bugs. Keep in mind, the greenway is gigantic. You aren't going to see it all on foot. This is a bicycle undertaking. Plus, you know, horror movies about bad things happen in backwoods; if you need to make a move, you're going to want wheels and not just your feet. So, be mindful of that.* But before you get snatched up, head back to the field and look all around you: you're in the middle of a dale and all around you are lush, green hills. Even if you're not sporty, it's something to see... if you're in the area. *I can't help myself. There's a reason why horror movies are set in the woods. They may be pretty but there's a creep factor as well. #teamcitynoise

The land was originally owned by the Donelson Church of Christ, and donated to the city after maintenance because to strain the church financially. Before being a park, the land was primarily used for soccer, and that's its main purpose today. There are several soccer leagues in Nashville, the oldest and most prominent boasting a history of over 40 years in the city, and over 600 participants in the 2019 season.

We sat in the 200's, which was a wonderful view of the game, and as mentioned, gave us easy access to all the goods. Food options were standard with burger, hot dogs, fries, nachos and pretzels being available across most spots. They did have several local eateries as well, which is where most of us ended up grabbing something from. This includes pizza, chicken, bbq, tacos and more. Pricing for tickets was good, but pricing for food, parking and especially pro-shop was a bit more painful, so be prepared...cheap-ish to get in, but they get you everywhere else. It was free on the street and was fun to walk with the tons of other concert goers to the stadium. We had floor seats so there was a designated entrance for that with a short line and put us right where we needed to be within the stadium. We found our seats with ease as everything was organized, but no one flagged us to the bracelets that lit up that everyone got so I had to walk back to another gate to get one. We were toward the front of the floor, but the seats in the back of the floor probably did not have a great view due to the non-slope. The food options were good and dwecently priced. The staff was friendly we had a great time.
