After finishing work at my girlfriend's home, the worker who performed the job contacted her personally and said that if her relationship ever didn't work out, he would be happy to take her on a date. He had been inside our home, knew she was in a committed relationship, and this crossed a serious professional boundary. Regardless of intent, this behavior was inappropriate, made us uncomfortable, and damaged our trust in the professionalism and respect customers should expect when inviting workers into their home.

Last year, I purchased a gallon of paint which turned out to be "battleship gray" for my kitchen cabinets. I decided I had to waste the gallon and get the correct color. I described to Mr. Merrill the shade of gray that I had in mind and the shade of gray that I didn't want and he walked over to the samples and picked out the exact color I had in mind. I went with it and my cabinets look great! He knows his paint and paint colors for sure.
