I love stopping by this local gem when I can! Everyone is super welcoming here -- I've never had a negative interaction with one of the baristas! The inside is also really cute and feels very new age / modern. My favorite drink to get from here is either the iced cookie butter latte (on a day that I'm treating myself) or the classic iced latte with sugar free vanilla and sugar free caramel syrups. Not a lot of places carry the sugar free caramel option, it's mainly only the vanilla option so this is another reason I love coming here. The only thing I would change would be the consistency! Sometimes, I don't taste the coffee at all and the coloring is very light which makes it taste/feel more of like a milk drink. I like to be able to taste the coffee, which is why I do espresso VS regular iced coffee but that's about it -- just more flavor consistency with how it's made. My goal when traveling is to always visit local coffee shops and I'm so glad I did! This location is south to the MDW airport , we were driving out and needed some coffee and came across the Grove Coffee Shop. There's plenty of parking , the location is also pretty large with plenty of seating space . The staff was great, the young girl that took our order was helpful in recommendations and small talk. The vibe of the coffee shop is aesthetically pleasing , great place to work from. I tried the grove latte that was delicious! Plus added their cold foam 10/10! My husband had their chai, and probably my favorite thing was their Bacon, Egg and Cheese with Signature Sauce 100/10! We took our order to go, but I wished I would've ordered another bagel/sandwich . We were soo impressed with the taste , it was delicious!!! Highly recommend visiting if around this area . read more

We stopped by this morning for coffee on the way into the city because we have been trying to find time to check out Grove Coffee. The staff was very friendly but the issue came when we ordered large coffees and to fix the size issue, they just poured milk into the original coffee in a larger cup. The drink tasted like cream, no coffee taste, little other flavors. Basically just a cup of milk, very underwhelming for what we expected. It sounds like potentially an isolated incident, but definitely disappointing read more

Grove Coffee in Oak Lawn is such a great spot, and I am so glad I stopped in. I ordered an iced chai with oat milk and it was so good, one of those drinks you immediately know you will order again. I also grabbed a muffin, and it was just as good, fresh and the perfect little addition to go with my drink. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It has such a comfortable and relaxed vibe, and it feels like a place you can actually spend time in, not just grab something and leave. Everything about it felt easy and enjoyable. This is also a really great place to work from home for a few hours. There is plenty of space to sit, a good atmosphere for getting things done, and lots of parking which makes it super easy to pop in and stay a while without any stress. You guys definitely need to try this place if you are in the area. I will definitely be back and can already see this becoming a go to spot. read more

In the Oak Lawn coffee desert, this place is an oasis. Rich, smooth coffee (I had a decaf iced Americano and that was good). Great Christmas music playlist. Plenty of seating, however a few more tables in the big space or chairs could work (but maybe they don't need them depending on capacity). The barista made me a hot drink instead of iced and I told them not to worry about it. The owner was there and noticed and they gave me a free coffee. Wow! Full house not a large place but the customer service was very good! It was crowded and I had to jump on the laptop for a couple and they opened there what looks like a meeting room to accommodate me! Now that's awesome and a free refill on my coffee! I am liking this place for a quick to go cup of Java or sit and enjoy my expresso. They have some baked goods also. read more

I was visiting from out of town and yelped the nearest coffee shop. I ordered the Grove latte and a breakfast bagel sandwich for pick up. I loooooove that they have a "less sweet" or "more sweet" option when choosing a latte. I chose less sweet and my latte was perfect! read more

The coffee and the bagels are honestly so good, the space is so cute and clean and there are many outlets and seating spaces to work at. Only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is they have these metal chairs that are so uncomfortable, and there's not really anywhere else to sit and get work done. There's a couch and a couple of comfier looking chairs by the kids area but the chairs by all the tables and outlets are just so uncomfy. Overall, I'll keep coming here before work to grab the coffee, which is amazing, but it's not a place to settle in and get work done. read more

Cute industrial interior with minimalist decor in a fairly open floor plan. The staff did a good job of upselling the baked goods and breakfast sandwiches, and honestly, they have good reason to. The bagels are nice and fresh, the baristas know how to draw espresso without making it bitter. My wishlist for this place is comfier furniture and ventilation in the kitchen/coffee bar area. Anything baked or cooked blew strong smoke/grease smell that clung to my clothes. It's new and looks sparse overall. I hope they lean into the grove theme! Get some plants and paint some forest scenes on the walls, squishy chairs and mood lighting. read more

Popped into Grove Coffee while visiting Oak Lawn and instantly wished it was in my neighborhood. The Grove Latte was so smooth and perfectly balanced. We also had the bagel sandwich, actually a real-deal good bagel, not just some bread pretending. Aesthetically cute, friendly staff that makes conversation which makes it feel like a homey coffee shop, coffee is great and so are those cake pop balls! I'm very picky with my coffee and they exceeded my expectations. I ordered a small iced latte with 3 shots of expresso, whole milk and half pump of vanilla. It was absolutely perfect. Perfect amount of ice and milk (which I hate an over amount of milk and under amount of milk- so this was perfect). The expresso was fresh and strong- not burnt, bitter or felt it was made in a rush! I hope there hours extend, I'd love to sit and enjoy my coffee there and do some work. It's so cozy and cute! Fits my Gilmore Girl or PLL coffee shop vibe!!
