We remodeled our shower three years ago. The contractor didn't force enough grout into the joints at the time and it's been washing out for a little while now so we called Grout Boss who said they could fix it. We thought Grout Boss would "re-grout" the floor and key spots just up from the floor. We were wrong. Quote said "clean, recolor, seal, gray sanded grout" which we took to mean "the grout will all match when done." David told my wife it would look like new. It doesn't come close. These are all "after" Grout Boss pictures, of a floor that itself was under three years old (Apr 2018). I called David and asked if Grout Boss stood by this work as it looks awful. He says they do and that it's an improvement. It is, but that's not what I was paying for. He says he's sorry for any misunderstanding, but they never intended to re-grout the shower floor. We paid them $600 ($20 discount coupon) and they spent three hours on a 3'x3' floor and associated area. For a little more I could have had the entire floor chipped out and replaced entirely. They didn't suggest that as they said it would be good as new. They put new grout on top of old in the three hours they spent, didn't bother to color match any of it, and said they stand by their work. It's ultimately our fault as we didn't get three bids or vet them. That's on me and it's an expensive lesson to learn as I'll wind up replacing the floor in full when the new grout gives way in a few months as it can't properly adhere to the old. Read the bid carefully and don't believe any pitch that says "like new" or matching colors. In my decade in East Orlando, I've contracted a ton of vendors and I've yet to have an experience this disappointing. Grout Boss refunded $100 of the $580 for the trouble. It's still a terrible overall job and I wouldn't put my name on it if it were me. But I did get a mild improvement and a lesson for my (now) $500 investment. read more

We bought a new home and the tile floors throughout the house were dirty and the grout discolored. Clearly, no maintenance had been done by the previous owners. We also had only a few days to get the flooring cleaned before movers arrived. We called Grout Boss (Eric) and he worked us into his busy schedule. Within several hours, our tile floor was cleaned, the grout colored/sealed. They now look like new. A very professional job. If we move again, we will definitely use their services. Half assed work. I wanted the grout removed and replaced. He scraped a bit of the old stuff away and filled over the rest. He didn't do a good job. I consider it a below average job. The guy has an attitude and doesn't take pride in his work. Cannot recommend. read more

Had them come out to re-grout a shower floor. They made an absolute mess and now I have dried grout which is like concrete all over my shower floor. It came back once spent 5 minutes and left and did absolutely nothing to improve the situation. I contact them again three or four times and no longer responded. I have been a builder remodeler and contractor as well as a realtor for 30 years so I am somewhat used to Professional Service. This one is not. read more

Although the results were good, customer service is horrible. Two guys came and did our job. Justin was conscientious and worked hard. Aaron was always on the phone, messy with little regard for our home, complained about his job and personal life, in a hurry to leave, waiting in the truck rather than helping his co-worker gather all their materials. He really lacked professionalism. Neither did they come with all the necessary materials they would need such as towels for clean up. I can't believe Aaron would use my bath towels for cleaning his brushes. When they left I immediately noticed Aaron had not stained the grout in the kitchen pantry. I tried calling the office. No one ever answers, you have to leave a message. When Erica called back we were told they would be here the next day, Saturday between 11-1. At 4:15pm Aaron called to say they wouldn't be here until Monday or Tues. Monday morning I called the office 2 times, again no one ever answers and finally Justin called back saying they would be out after completing a job they were on around 3pm. My husband then called and left a message with the owner around 4pm. They finally came out around 5 and finished up. Aaron again was messy and in a hurry. We asked them to go in and out through the garage but instead he washed out his rag and then left through the front door dripping water as he went. We paid a premium price for what we had done, they were fast cashing the check, but slow responding for service.
