Fit 4 Boxing Club

Yet just like ending a relationship even one that ran it's course, I was displaced and unsure what to do next. I, along with a slew of other ladies turned friends from our old gym began trying out some other places. In total I went to 5 other gyms before trying Fit4Life Boxing Club. I found some common problems in the other places. Lack of classes, lack of cleanliness, lack of class times, lack of variety, they all equaled lack of interest, but this "dating" period was kind of fun, dare I say exciting to try out so many different places. I and my gym crew prefer a place with structured programs. I do have a basic membership to a box gym and though I know how to work out, I prefer someone tell me what to do. It keeps me accountable and makes me feel like I really got the most out of my hour. So enter the boxing club, I was really unsure about this place at first. Me and two gym friends came here during a free week they were offering at the end of the summer. I had done no contact kickboxing classes, but that did not really prepare me for what was in store. By the time the class was over I was drenched and exhausted, but I wasn't sold. I don't know why. It was an excellent workout, it was fun, and went fast! But I think I was a little scared of commitment. After being "married" to a gym I wanted to leave well before it was over, I had cold feet. Luckily they were offering some good intro rates off the free week and me and my posse signed up for the month. It didn't take a month. Within about a week we all knew this was where we wanted to be. As it turned out not just a couple of us but basically everyone that went to my old gym joined here. I also invited other friends and co-workers to try it out and they loved it and joined as well. So to anyone looking for a challenging workout that's fun, stop in! Well not now because COVID-19, but hopefully soon. They have classes 7 days a week. Super early mornings, 5am classes are awesome, to 7 pm classes and in between. They have great instructors who know you. Out of classes of 30-50 people they still know your name. They are very helpful and encouraging the whole class. Each class is different so you never have to work through the same workout. The first class is always free and there are many different options for memberships from punch cards to 12 month membership plans. Nothing really helps get the aggression out than going 15 rounds with a heavy bag! Lastly they have great programs for kids and offer classes specific to people with Parkinson disease called Rock Steady. Fit4Life is a great gym that also gives back to the community. I am very happy I found this place.

They'll have a class going on, while I'm in personal training, and members & coaches from the class will come over and say you're doing a great job, keep up the good work! I never thought I could love a gym, but Tedesco has made me love and even look forward to looking…read moreout. For months I saw the Facebook posts for Tedesco but was afraid to try it. Gyms can be intimidating and full of body shame if you don't fit a certain standard. Tedesco is none of those things. The first time I walked in for a 5 am boot camp class I was greeted with enthusiasm. It has been over ten years since I've done anything like it, so I was nervous and also realistic about my abilities. The coach demonstrated every activity and also worked with me through modifications where I needed them. What was also refreshing was seeing all sorts of body types in the class. This is definitely a place that welcomes and embraces everyone who walks in the door. They offer fitness boot camp, kickboxing and strength boot camp classes along with open gym time. I've attended all of them and really enjoyed every one. What's great is that they are something different every day. Each day focuses on a different muscle but the order and which activity changes. They also regularly host challenges with different themes. For example, I'm currently in the "Little Black Dress" challenge where in addition to the workouts, we get meal plans and nutrition consults. You can also just come to the gym to do your own workout. I never thought I'd be someone who looked forward to 5 am workouts, but Tedesco converted me. This place is amazing, so if you are out east and looking for a gym, definitely check them out. You won't regret it.
