Since we would have to wait (it is very near the edge of our drive and we kept running onto it this winter with the snow plow. Very inconvenient) he would cover it for us. He never redid our estimate sheet we had received weeks earlier. I have called multiple times (for 5 months!)and the secretary keeps saying he will call me back. I finally got angry last time we spoke and said it was rude not to return one phone call about this and I would hope we did not have to resort to legal means. (No yelling; no swearing. Just that.) Her excuse. We are very busy. Today I get a snotty call saying it wasn't on the estimate sheet so they wouldn't do it. I know what occurred between the owner and us and this is a pretty lousy business practice. Here we are a year later and now they are sliding out of their commitment. Funny, when I called and they were going to receive money from us for this job I got a call back the same day. Mustn't have been very busy that day, right? Never will use them again. We considered several companies, but felt that Trudell's were arborists who understood trimming of trees... not just skilled at removing them. It was scheduled to be an all day job with the possibility of carrying over to the next morning. But the crew, all extremely professional, was able to finish the work on day 1. Everything was immaculate after their work... in fact it looked much better than when they started. And I've never been as satisfied with the stump removal. I even had neighbors comment on the fact that it was the best job they had ever seen. Buyer beware, I recently had Acorn remove tree's from my yard and spent over $6,000 dollars to have…read morethem removed, stumps ground, and dirt brought in and seeded. I also helped them land a job at my neighbors house so they wouldn't have to return and the neighbor could get a better deal. We just had our driveway repaired that was quite costly. Acorn's boom truck rolled over the edge and cracked the driveway. Alex from Acorn told me it was a bad concrete job and said they would do nothing about it. They were supposed to seed the areas where the tree's were removed. There has not been a single sprout of grass that came up other than crabgrass. I would not be able to recommend this company to any of my friends or family at this time.

People have complimented the trimmed linden trees and now maybe my grass will grow. The earlier experience was very similar. Very respectful of the surrounding plants.
