Most chain coffee places these days are cookie cutter copies of each other with no real variation in faire or facilities and this is the same for Ground. This is a double edged sword, it means that you often loose out on the ambience, great service and high quality coffee that you get from independent places that only they can provide when done right. On the other hand it also pretty much guarantees that you're going to have a coffee shop experience of a high enough, (if not unique and characterful) quality.
So I find that once you've been in one chain, you've really been in them all more or less. Ground I find a good chain and this one is no different, so the only thing that differentiates for me is the staff as the food and coffee are uniform. This one I'm happy to say has on my visits, nice staff that were pleasant and welcoming.
So if you know what to expect and generally like the chain coffee shop experience, then you should like it here. read more
