He was pulled off of her and restrained by an instructor. The child then cussed at and hit the instructor in the face. He was restrained and removed from the training area to protect the other children. The parents, who see no problem with their "angel's" behavior, wrote a bad, and completely FALSE review just moments ago out of spite. Please disregard their lies and come check this place out for yourself. Thanks again to Noel and crew. This place is incredible. The instructors and students are extremely supportive and easy-going. Brian Stanley is extremely well-trained, knowledgeable, passionate, and kind. He has created an environment that focuses on being humble warriors and respecting all but fearing none. The encouraging energy is created by instructors and fellow teammates. The vibes of the gym resemble that of a close-knit team, and we consider ourselves a family that opens its arms to anyone who wants to put in the work and learn something new. With that being said, everyone at the gym likes to have a good time and classes are often accompanied with laughs. Stanley Combatives currently offers a variety of class options including Muay Thai, BJJ, conditioning, and street self-defense. Personally, I had never trained any kind of combat sports before joining the gym, but I enjoyed it from the moment I stepped on the mat. 10/10 cannot recommend enough- absolutely top tier.

I had always heard about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, but never knew of any schools offering it in this area. After my first class at Baltimore BJJ, I knew my search was over. At many of the other dojos, I learned a great deal of material that I was unable to use against a non-cooperative partner in sparring. It was very exciting when I found that I was able to actually use what I was taught at Baltimore BJJ in sparring, and presumably, self-defense. Now, I will hopefully never have to use those skills in self-defense, but the impact Baltimore BJJ has had on my personal life is incredible. Knowing that each week I can go in and learn and invaluable skill while getting a great workout alongside a great group of people is awesome. It's nice to have something that I can depend on, where, as long as I put forth the effort, I will succeed. Earning my Blue Belt was a huge event, of which I am very proud. I have earned Black Belts at other schools, but earning my Blue Belt at Baltimore BJJ is probably the accomplishment I cherish the most. I plan on being a student of Baltimore BJJ for a long, long time. With each class, I can feel my knowledge and skill growing. It's great to be working on something positive. The longer I train, the more I look forward to each class. The classes are a lot of fun, and a lot of hard work. My advice to anyone considering studying a martial art is to come down to Baltimore BJJ ASAP, because every day you delay is another day you could have spent on this amazing journey of self-improvement through BJJ.
