First impressions are positive. Once we arrived we got greeted right away, there weren't too many people on a Sunday at around 19:30. Even now at 20:15 when we've finished eating the restaurant isn't packed but rather a little more than half full with people still trickeling in. Seating is comortable and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Once we had sat down we were served shortly. Our drinks got to the table shortly after ordering, and our food order was taken a reasonable amount of time after. The personel was friendly and spoke italian to us (although admittedly none of us speak it) but communication worked nonetheless. i also hear some hints of french, german and english from other servers though. Then it was another small wait until I was served my Perisco Fish (pictures are posted too, price 32Chf) and my dining partners received their Melon and Parma Ham and Tomato Mozarella Salad. Rice, Fish and Vegetables were all well done, although in my opinion they could have cut down on the nuts that were on the Fish by a bit. The Melon and Parma Ham were well average but nothing outstanding. The Tomato Mozarella Salad on the other hand contained not quite ripe tomatoes but was ok otherwise.
Up until now I'd have given the restaurant a 3/5 in total, but due to the awesome Tiramisu and Pana Cota I've bumped that up to a 4/5.
Overall it was a very enjoyable dining experience!
Btw.: Bathroom was clean but very rustic and old.
