The day of the party, we arrived around 6:30 to decorate and the DJ showed up as well. As the DJ was bringing in his equipment, Ray came out of the office after he received the rest of the payment, and immediately became rude. He offended my family and I saying "do I need security for this event," even though we ensured him twice that it was a family party. He's extremely unprofessional and started cussing as well. I had to reassure him that we are not disrespectful people and we do not cause issues. We felt racially profiled, since he assumed we needed security. He also said he doesn't rent the hall out to people under 35 years old, which seems to not be the case, based off of previous events posted on the Instagram page for this location. All though we had a great time, we would not return back to this venue due to how unprofessional the owner was.

The servers were very helpful during the event including the floor manager. The bartenders were fun and interacted with my guests. Calls and messages often went unanswered, and when I raised concerns about issues during the event, they were dismissed rather than addressed. On the day of the event, several things went wrong. Dinner service started late, the food was served cold, and there was only one bartender for approximately 130 guests. Drinks that were supposed to be served during dinner were never delivered. When I asked staff for assistance, no one was able to help or identify a point person in charge. Additionally, the venue was still being set up when it was supposed to be ready, which added unnecessary stress while I was trying to decorate and prepare. Instead of offering a meaningful resolution, I was offered a small discount for a future event and tickets to a band, which felt inappropriate given the situation. Overall, I was unable to fully enjoy my mother's event because I was busy managing issues that should have been handled by the venue. I would not recommend Palace Regency based on my experience.

The entire evening went totally smoothly--we were able to simply soak it all in and enjoy. Callie, Spencer, and the whole team are fantastic. They were responsive and helpful throughout the process from our tour and booking right through to the day of the wedding. And, Spencer nailed it with the DJ match (Devin); we danced up a storm! However once we reached the top, there was no need to worry. What a lovely space this was to have an event. There was a reception area for drinks prior to the ceremony. The room was set up nicely with a combination of standing cocktail tables and seating to sit down in. The bar area was set up nicely and was well organized. I was so surprised to see the outdoor space next to the room where the ceremony was held. The room itself was beautiful, but seeing the outdoor greenery made it all the more magical. After the ceremony everyone retired back to the reception area for drinks. I kept trying to figure out where dinner was going to be served. While having drinks, the staff kept walking around with these amazing hors d'oeuvres! I had so many that I almost did not want to have dinner, they were that good. Well color me surprised as the same room we were in for the ceremony was transformed into a dining area, with a second room next to it set up for a band and dancing. The set up for dinner was nice and the food was actually pretty good, I mean clean your plate good. The staff did an excellent job of serving without getting in the way of things. And the speed at which they transformed the room was pretty quick. I am usually not much for wedding events but we had a great time here, in part to the lovely couple, but the venue had a big part to play in it. If I had known about this place and COVID had not been a thing, we could have had The Doctor's 60th here.

This is my first ever yelp review, and it saddens me that I had to write it. I am not one to…read morecomplain, but I feel so upset that I let my family down on Christmas Eve. I ordered fried calamari and baked clams from Villa Brunetti. I make them every year, but this time I hosted at home and didn't have the means to make all the seafood. It was a total disappointment. I received a shallow pan half filled with calamari that looked like they were thrown into the fryer with no flour or breading. The baked clams were so tiny and all bunched up together. I paid $140.00 for these dishes, and was left embarrassed to serve inedible products. I have been in the food service industry for over 25 years, and a chef for 16 years, so I know what food is supposed to look like, taste, and presented. (No excuse for the execution). Prior to writing this review, I reached out to the restaurant and the only thing they had to say is that I was the only one who complained, they where dismissive and uncaring and they did not feel like they had to make anything right. I most certainly understand "things happen" One complaint or 100 complaints, that shouldn't matter. To be met with indifference by staff shows a lack of customer service and respect for your clientelle. What happened to making things right? Never again will I order from Villa Brunetti or will I attend their events.
